Disney ICP Summer 2013!!!!

Umm not sure about the Canadian dollar, but i know this past week or so for every 1£ we get about $1.58 =]

 

The Canadian dollar and the American dollar have been pretty much on par, give or take a few cents, for the past few years.
So, yeah, it'll be fairly expensive for my travels to the interviews :S

 

Just as a note: it's 450-500 km from Dublin, Ireland to London, England.
It's just over 700 km from where I live in New Brunswick to Montreal. And that's only if they don't push us into Toronto.

 

Yeah Canada is ridiculously huge.
What are flight prices like over there?
If you're travelling from Belfast to London, it'll cost you about £150, maybe more. That's about £70-£90 flights overall, £70 approx hotel, and up to £30 travel expenses(a lot cheaper if you do it right ;P)
For me it'll cost me £10-£15 to get to London and back. But it'll mean a 4am start to get me there for 9am

It's 328 dollars just for the flights from here to Montreal, or 288 for flights to Toronto (it's more popular destination).

 

My god. I guess you REALLY have to want it if your from Canada. Wow, cant believe that.
I'd still pay it haha. Sacrifices need to be made haha.

Well, bare in mind most people applying are probably from BC, Ontario or Quebec anyway, since 2/3 of Canada's population lives in those three provinces alone. For them, it's much easier to get to a city where an interview is being held (except for people who live waaaayyy north BC).

I discussed it with my dad and he said the whole family might go for a few days for a mini vacation, so I wouldn't be paying first hand, anyway

Yeah but doesn't work during peak hours so it's pricey.

ahaha if your upset he mentioned it the other day, you'll be even more dissapointed to hear that for the first 15 minutes of my lecture today they spoke about the ICP and showed us a few slideshows and how to apply! haha

 

Finally got myself into gear and applied today! Don't think I stand much of a chance (no real work experience) but it's worth a pop!

Ahaha if it makes you feel any better.. thennnn.. she said 'if anyone wants to apply and help me look through your CV stay behind after class' and nobody stayed behind but me? and i've already applied.. i was thinking wtf is up with you people!! ahahaha

Hopefully none. Should have a 'how did you hear about us' on the website, and anyone who puts anything other than 'thorough research/Disney fanatic' shouldn't get an interview lol

man I just read they've put the interviews late october! I'm going to Disneyland Paris for halloween from 30th to 1st! :/

I'm from Dublin, Ireland and just did the program there this summer!! It really is amazing and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone! I had such a great time that I've applied again, although I've heard that once you get it once it's harder to get it again! If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me
