You're so lucky they are doing interviews in Scotland!

 

Just to let you know I don't think programs can run far into September when it comes to student J-1 visas so that's probably why they have started early. When I went it was June 1st and that was 1 before the latest date u can go

Also I've had a long time at work today to think about not getting an interview and i'm okay

I'm not going to email them i'm just going to take it and I think it's for the best. I think this rejection has really reminded me that I need to do something next year before i'm no longer a student! I'm definitely going to work in America but altho i'd love to work at Disney, I have already done it... So perhaps the rejection has done me good because it will make me experience something different

Besides there is no way on Earth that I won't visit Walt Disney World again so at least when I do again it can be as a guest

 

Wish I'd applied for this when I could have, but I don't think I could have yet, not 1 year into college yet, haha! Good luck to everyone applying, and that's great the interviews are in Scotland! Hope it's the same for the CRP's when I apply so I don't need to travel so far haha! ;D

 

Yeah, back when they only did one face to face interview, it was during February midterms

I got my pre selection interview email on Friday (yes, I was a wee bit excited and got some strange looks in the office)
So I'll be going on a mini adventure up to Edinburgh on the 11th!!
And hopefully I would've talked to some of you by then to avoid being that awkward lonely guy aha!

I will! The interviews are actually at my uni, so I'll know where I'm going. I was going to suggest that Edinburgh folk from here could maybe meet up in the city centre and get the bus or a taxi up together?

 

I'm just thinking of questions they could ask and preparing answers for them Although Im struggling to think of questions lol

 

Hey guys, hope everyone's doing okay?=)

Been checking in on here for a while, but seeing as I got through to the next stage I thought I'd make an account. So yeah, Im Dan, I live in Nottingham and I'm in my 3rd year of Uni so I'm incredibly happy that I've managed to at least get through to this next stage.

I got the 1pm slot next monday in London, should be fun, despite the drive and trying to navigate the underground =p But im looking forward to it otherwise =)

 

That sounds rocking because a) it will be awesome to finally put faces to names and b) I have no idea of where I'm going once I leave my friend's flat at Edinburgh Uni. Hence, the fact I am leaving the night before and not the day of

Either way, it'd be cool to meet everyone. Bus is pretty cheap (£1.40 each way) and takes about half an hour, but if there were a few people then splitting a taxi would probably be pretty cheap too!

 

Aha the girl to guy ratio doesn't faze me !

I think I'm more worried about getting there :| me and unknown public transport don't get along very well :-\

 

Don't worry same here, I barely understand the bus routes/geography of the city I've lived in all my life so an unfamiliar area = disaster!
By the sounds of it, I'm sure all of us Edinburgh folk can get together beforehand at some coffee place/hotspot and then make our way together so no man goes alone

 

I will literally have to fly to my interview if I get one, so don't feel bad! We're all gonna be lost XD
