I completely agree though about contacting them, a little email wont hurt

 

I got accepted for the screening interview but the start date is 2 days before my last exam which is very annoying (10th June) wonder why they are starting so early? Is this usually the case?

It's about 3 weeks before I finish as well. So stupid. It's for uni students yet they obviously haven't looked at when we actually finish. Why have it June - August when we're mainly off July - September. Ridiculous.

There must be a lot of people in the same situation. You never know they may change it. ( clutching at straws here)

 

My course finishes May - halfway through september! So if they change it to july - september I wont be able to go

 

I finish in the beginning/middle of May until the end of Sep.
Then again I dont have any exams.

 

From looking on the Internet. From the few I've found most of them finish on 14th June. So they could have done it starting 17th June till middle of August and that would still be plenty in time before freshers week starts again. Ah well!

 

My uni is finished 25th of April, so June is plenty late for me.

 

I don't know if UK is the same, but I heard that in Canada, they like to schedule interviews on our midterm dates.

We have the whole of the summer term after April, April's just the Easter break for us!

My midterms are this week to October 22nd, so that disproves your theory. Unless you mean the winter semester midterms?

 

I'm so sorry Piglet, but I'm with everyone else in thinking you should shoot them an email. If it's your last chance, it can't hurt.
And regarding start dates, I thought the start dates were normally throughout May and early-mid June? Fortunately for me, my uni finishes on May 16th. I didn't realise that wasn't the norm though! Might just double-check my uni calender now just to be sure though...

 

My midterms are also in the next few weeks, but my finals start around end of November-beginning of December... I'm definitely screwed, but I heard they often hold the interviews here in Montreal so I guess I don't have to worry too much...
Oh and my uni let's out on April 30th at the latest...

 

My finals are all beginning-mid December. So we'll just have to wait and see.
I think there usually is one in Montreal, and being from New Brunswick, I'll probably see you there!

 

My uni finishes may 16th, then exam week is til may 22nd, and i have 1 exam, so it should be alright for mee

Well done on everyone that's got an interview!! I LOVED the interviews, it's so good to finally put a face to all the names you will have been talking to. Although it's hilarious how different everyone looks from their facebook photos - ie. "disney-look", which is just a bit different from the normal drunken fb photos!

Piglet, I'm so sorry you didn't get an interview straight up, but defo send them an email asking to be considered if someone else drops out. People drop out all the time so it would be to your advantage to let them know that your still interested. And if not, then you could do the CRP when you graduate, I've spoken to several people who didn't get an interview for the ICP but got into the CRP xx
