Anyway, I got an interview! I was sweating over my application for ages, I actually only submitted it on the morning of the 28th... by about 6PM I was put out of misery, so I was delighted.

Is anyone else from here at Edinburgh for their group interview?

 

WOOOOOOOOOOO interview London on the 8th at 1pm! I've requested to join the fb group [Emma Josephine], can't wait to meet everyone from the group who'll be in london shame we can't all go to the same one

 

I just find that so weird, since there is no difference between how someone in New Brunswick (Canada) and Maine (US) talks. Like, there is really absolutely no difference. No difference in slang, in inflections, anything. I guess it must just be to make it fair to all the ICPs from all the other countries?

I has a question LauraJayne *Raises Hand* When do we express interest in the certain roles, should i start thinking about that now or worry about it if i get a f2f?

 

I agree with this question! Also is there a list anywhere with ALL the roles? I've been trying to find every role!

I know my main would be Merch, but I also like the look of costuming, i'm not sure if ICPs can do this though! Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and attractions would be my next choices ! I wouldn't put down character attendant or performer cause those are roles I probably wouldn't be too good at !

But appart from those 2 I'd do anything! Even just clean the toilets! Or the animal poop

I better start with introductions, seeing as it's the first post and all... Hey, I'm George. I'm 20 and I study Environmental Hazards & Disaster Management at Kingston University. I've been lurking for quite a while, and now I've gotten to the next stage of the process, I've realised I know nobody, and that'll be rather awkward for me by the time the interview comes around... So here I am! Anyway, I have my pre-selection interview thing on 8th October in London at 9:30. I don't have Facebook (but my friends keep pushing me to get it, so that might change soon...) but I do have Tumblr. Expederest.tumblr.com, if you want to talk or whatever.

But introductions aside, a couple of questions. After you confirm that you are attending the event, do you get another email back? I don't want to arrive, only to find out they didn't get the email and they've taken me off the list or whatever. Also, who knows how to dress smart casual?

I think smart casual would be dress pants, a nice top, closed-toed shoes and everything else as covered by "the Disney Look". Somebody correct me if I'm wrong!

I know, I'd been working on my CV since the beginning of August... and had convinced myself I'd already applied! Really happy that it didn't count against me, made sure to confirm my place at the interview as soon as I got the email...

Hey again I'm travelling from Aberdeen so not too far, but then not as close as living in Edinburgh What about you/your travel plans? I'm going down the night before just so I'm not going to end up running around like a nervous banshee on the big day.
And yeah, I've not received an confirmation from Yummy Jobs regarding my confirmation email. Do they normally respond?
And that's horrible Piglet! I swear, that is a form of torture but don't give up hope. Fingers crossed, you'll hear today

Ohh no that's really awful I'm so sorry.
Hey, you've got nothing to lose, why don't you ring up and explain this is your last chance and that if anyone drops out and can't make their interview, then can you be first on the waiting list?
