Anywhere at Disney would be amazing!!! Although, if I get through and they ask where I'd like to be placed, I'm going to say Downtown Disney, since merch is my power house, and I really love the atmosphere of Downtown Disney
Merch is mine too! But i'd love to work costuming (not sure if ICPs can), house keeping or anything really ! Except character attendant and entertainer I dont think i'd be too good at those roles!
Character attendant would actually be my first choice, but I'm only going to put is as my second (if I get through) because all of my experience is in merch XD
I put down my area of expertise as Customer Service. Hoping they'll give me character attendant. I wanted to do character performer, but I had a good think and I get kinda claustropic.. And I can't breathe through my nose properly. So I don't think I'd be good at that lol! But the idea of working in New Fantasyland! OMG. I never even thought of that. That'd be amazing.
See, as my dad is a DVC member, I'm going to New Fantasyland in Dec. So, while I'd love to work there, I'd be just as happy working anywhere else on property It sounds like you'd be a really good Character Attendant, kerriejordan! Gaston and Ariel will both be meeting in New Fantasyland....best of both worlds?
Re: Re: Disney ICP Summer 2013!!!! I really want either character performer or character attendant as all of my experience is in character work, entertainment and event management! Here's hoping we get it guys Sent from my HTC Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
Re: Re: Disney ICP Summer 2013!!!! Considering you already have had a job performing characters for Disney, I highly doubt you won't pass your audition
I'd love to work in the new Fantasyland especially as Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film so to work in Belle's Village gift shop would ah-mazing. However, at current, I'd settle anywhere as the dream is just working somewhere in the Walt Disney World vincity! Merchandise would be my favourite although I'd love to do check-in at one of the hotels, but I'm not 100% sure ICPers can do that. Failing merchanise or hospitality, i would like attractions, main entrance operations or full-service food and beverage. But I'm game for anything, just send me to WDW, and I'll work!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to work on haunted mansion or tower of terror!! not only are they amazing costumes, you can also have fun with the guests 'scaring' them haha
ParkyPants, those two (along with Jungle Cruise) are the top requested attractions to work on! If you manage to end up on one of them, I would applaud you for several hours XD
I've just heard from a lot of people it's hard to get placed on those. OMG, The Great Movie Ride. If I worked an attraction, I'd want it to be this one!!! This is my favorite thing at Hollywood Studios. I ride it AT LEAST thrice per visit. Is that bad?
Haha its not bad, I'm slightly obsessed with the beauty and the beast show!! When i was on the CRP i musta watched it 200 times, no joke, haha everyday off, or afternoon off!
Whilst amazing to scare the pants off people at the Haunted Mansion or Tower of Terror, I don't think I'd be able to keep a straight face long enough to do it Soarin' or Splash Mountain would be a dream to work at though for me!
Oh wow! I love that show, too, but I find it hard to get a good seat. Okay, how about this: When we go to AK, we watch Finding Nemo at least four times: Twice to see the morning cast and twice to see the afternoon cast.
Hahahhaha, this guy, Mike, totally broke character to talk to my sister and I in the pre-show room at TOT. We had a grand old chat. It was kinda weird seeing him back in character when leading the group out XD
I did the ICP this summer, requested haunted mansion and failed at getting it lol, it is potential though I knew people who were working on it, but I didn't. Instead I got aladdin's magic carpets, the tiki room and the treehouse (ATT) if you get it, do not dread it, despite the heat, it is amazing! everyone is so nice and it is a really fun ride to work on!! p.s. they're no longer putting ICPs on 'big' rides, which includes jungle cruise and pirates (in my area anywho) due to language barriers and safety issues, sooo there you go
