Disney ICP Summer 2013!!!!

Hi Minnie! Did you have a group interview when you were interviewed? What was it like?
Anything you would suggest to prepare for it?

Also I'm so worried my application isn't good enough, what kinda things do you think stood out on your application?

 

erghh I hope not, I've already done it too

And yeh there is a gym but I don't think u should really use it on your days off, there are so many more exciting things u could be doing with your time lol

I think I'd rather lose weight legging it around the parks, trying to fit in as many rides into my day off as possible!

I agree with Briar Rose! Walking around those parks (esp. AK) is a FANTASTIC workout! XD

Oh no. They've changed my DCL ship, going on the Wonder now. Being flown out a day earlier (Oct 24th), so that's even worse for my chances for the ICP interviews.
I'm also now training and embarking the ship in LA and not Florida. I was looking forward to going to WDW in the evenings. Boo.

I know but I've never been to WDW and have been begging my parents since I can remember to take me there. I'm now 21 and it's never happened so I was beyond ecstatic that I got to go next month, even if it meant for an hour or two after classes finish in the evening. Now I don't get to go at all. Sad face :'(
Plus. I don't get to goto Disneyland, I'll be in LA not Anaheim!

And I'm sorry about that, I have no idea how close/far apart things are in Cali. I know Florida pretty well, but I've never been to California.

Yeah I know, well me either, never been to America (except briefly drove into the NY state from Canada) and I've only been to Disneyland Paris. I wanna do the ICP so bad. I will apply every year of my degree till I get it!

Does anyone know the average age of ICP'ers?

Wow never been to America you will love it But u know in the future u will deffo go to WDW so just enjoy LA for now cos that will be amazing And you don't need ur parents to go just start saving now and u can go after u graduate x

Disneyland in california is my favourite. it's perfect I adore everything about it!

 

I've only ever been to WDW, but I've gone 12 times (and doing my unlucky 13th trip this Christmas, first time being there ON Christmas day!)

 

Omg BriarRose, if I was rich I would send you to America! I friggin love it! I mean I do Amercan history and politics for crying out loud LOL. I've always wanted to go to LA/Cali. Wanna do the West Coast so bad! Ive never left the easy coast. Been to Orlando 5 times and New York/Washington in one trip. I consider myself the luckiest person in the world for being over the atlantic that many times.

 

Before the week i spent there this july, I'd only ever been to WDW during the christmas season (about 10 times i'd say). It is AMAZING. Everything is just so perfect and beautiful. (i'm biased though... Christmas is by far my favourite holiday..)

You're going to love being there on christmas day. I don't know what resort you're staying at, but I usually stay at Pop Century, and they always hang a little surprise on your room door on the morning of the 25th! I'm so jealous, this is the first time in years that we're aren't visiting disney during the holidays

 

I've only ever been to Disneyland Paris at Christmas and that was for NYE, the fireworks were very disappointing! I think they cut it short for some reason :/

I love Halloween best at WDW, I went to Mickeys halloween party last time and it was amazing

I've been to WDW once in 2005 and again in 2010 but because I worked there i'm not sure how many times I've actually been...probably every day for 4 months lol

I know a lot of you have said you haven't done California area but i'll ask anyway incase any1 has I'm going to Las Vegas in November and I was debating a day trip to Hollywood, is it worth the trekk if only for a couple of hours? (I'd be getting a coach over)

Haha aww I wanna go so bad. I might have only been to DLP twice but I'm still one of the biggest Disney freaks ever. I'm definitely into the films and characters more than the parks (obviously, I haven't really been to them) but I'm sure 'parks' will be added to the list once I go I could probably recite all the movies' scripts in my sleep and/or turn each of them into a one woman play :

I have been to vegas and hollywood! I love LA and the hollywood strip! But since you are sort of near you should go to disneyland in california. It's so magical and perfect. I adore it!! I've been there twice and I just love everything about it! I have an annual pass for disneyland paris and I love it there, but it doesnt even compare to california it's just AMAZING haha! I do love disneyland paris LOADS though! I'm going for halloween yay

 

Walt Disney World is my one and only <3 I was offered to go to DL this summer with a family friend, but it was really short notice. I'm hoping to go someday, though! I'd also love to go to Disneyland Paris, seeing as how I speak French and all. Plus I really want to go to Europe. (I might be going to London Nov 2013!)
