I have another Disney Trivia question for you guys: What was the approximate total price the Disney company paid for the land used for WDW? I can tell you that the total price is between $1 million and $30 million. Good luck!
Hmm... good question... I know that a lot of the land Walt Disney was able to get for dirt cheap since it was swampland and nobody usually wants that, and when people finally caught on to who was buying it, the prices flew through the roof. Taking that into consideration along with the fact that this would've been in the 60's, and inflation would've been lower, I'm gonna guess it would be closer to the lower limit there... so my guess is... 1 million Dollars!!! *Dr. Evil pinky hand gesture thingy*
As tempting as it is to use google and cheat, I'm gonna play fair and take a guess... so ...... six and a half million?
Yeah, on the grand scheme of things I don't think it was much... well, at least certainly not what that land would be worth now! I just know that once it was sorta discovered that Disney was buying up the land there, the price jumped up a huuuuuuuge percentage! Lucky he more or less had all the land he needed hmm... I'm going to guess around 1 million dollars as well...
D-A-N you were really close! It was around $5 million. Walt Disney used some dummy corporations so as not to tipp off landowners it was Disney purchasing the property, the organization was able to purchase more than 27,000 acres for a total sum of $5,018,770, which works out to less than $200 per acre. That's cheap!
Time for a new one! "Hearty, Brave, Fearless, Bold, Daring and Courageous" Which WDW ride i'm talking about?
I want to say the Indiana Jones show, but I don't think that's right. Hmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm I really don't know I feel so uneducated! xx
I know for sure that those names are from the trains from the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride. The train name BRAVE changed in Disneyland in California after a mechanic malfunction where unfortunately a guest died. I've read this once on the internet so that's the reason for knowing the answer.
I was not able to count them all forgot every single time where I started... More then 10,000 or so??
LOTS! Now that depends, are you counting just the individual triangles, or do you count all the combinations that form triangles as well? Like 4 small triangles form 1 larger triangle... that would get tricky.... ;D
