Well Rob i was mistaken for german in my class last year in america. The professor asked me in front of the advertising class how do u say BMW (full words) in German - im like i dont know hes like what kind of german are u? Need to think of a witty response for if they ask that question! xxx
i quite often got asked in florida was i german? ummm....no! someone also once asked me where i was from, i said scotland ad he said "wow...youre really pretty....especially for for someone that comes from scotland!! my mum almost hit him i think!lol xxxx
I've had quite a few people ask me if I'm Austrailian, but I think it's my midlands accent because I've a friend from around the same area and he get's asked that too!
I was originally yeah, I lived in Redditch until I was 16. Then I moved to East Anglia (to the border between Cambridgeshire and Norfolk), and then to Chester for university. I put chester as my region for the interview because I could say more about it . My parents got divorced last year though so I'm moving back in with my dad in Redditch when I've finished my last year at uni. (though hopefully not for long if I get this september florida position )
Hey Gals, Wow, u know I have never been mistaken. Well once, I was on my first day of school at new Junior HIgh, and my last name is Laureles, not so common. And one of the teachers told me if I had French relatives :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ In fact later I found out I had, but they are more political realted than blood. But it was nice meeting, they are way nice. See ya Robb ;D
Wow - Linz lol over ur mum - cant blame her - how can anyone be so ignorant! Yeah on my exchange year i got asked if i was australian more than english - i blame the movies they need to hire some non southern actors! Thats cool ur from the midlands Zanitta - Disney seem to love us midlands lot im from staffs too like Sara and theres also a guy called dan going from Staffs! xxx
I know Sara - just from the boards 3 towns are represented! Will laugh if we get there and meet more staffs people! I hope u get through Zanitta, good luck... whats ur preference f and b or merch? xxx
Hey Gals, U know I was definetly into Merch too. But I prefered Attractions, because it seemed that nobody was going to apply, as most the of interviewed showed interest in Food. So, it was my lucky election. Got accepted in the first interview. Anyway, I havent got any experience at all , in any of the positions. So I will be a total NEWBIE!!!!!!!! See ya Robb ;D
we were told in our interview that we only had the option of merch and f&b, nothing else, so we didn't get to specify attractions.
only some of the countries have rides(attractions) mexico and norway for example! the UK doesnt have anything like that so there are no attraction jobs in our pavillion. xx
I agree sara!!! They should so put some kind of attraction in there!!! They cant have enough 360 degree theatre theres already enough of them!!! What should they have though!?!?!?
lol, i was just thinkin what they could have....they could have a motion simulation for a tour over the uk/london, like the open top bus tour, that could b interestin lol....am still thinkin tho xxx
