And don't forget Canada Day guys...July 1...any Canadian can vouch for me that the party will be huge!!!!!
Hey Gals and Guys. How have u been?? Hope u r cool. Hey , I knew there was a Canada Day, 1st July, no?? Hey I wonder, do Britain has got a national day?? Is because Mexico has got Independence Day, Sept 16, as well as the U.S., July 4. France has also got a national day July 14, the begin of the French Revolution. Hey got to go See ya Robb ;D
Wow July is just gonna be a month of partying for the countries...crazy...i didn't know Mexico celebrated on July 4... Hey Robb, what part of Mexico are you from?
Hey Gals and Guys, Hey Robyn: I am from the centre part. I live in a city called Toluca, it is about an hour driving from Mexico City. We are mainly an industrial city, not too much to do or see. Of course all the fun and excitement is in Mexico City. Hey sorry I think I didnt explain well, Mexican Independence is on September 16, the U.S. has also got Independence Day, on the 4th of July. I made the comment because mainly European countries have national days , rather than independence because they were never ruled by someone else. And I think Canada obtain its Independence by signing the Commonwealth. I think.... See ya Robb ;D
Yeah something like that!!!! I love your country Robb!!! I have been there a few times to Cancun, Akumal, and to Mazatlan
Haha im so ignorant on this stuff i have no clue! Think its just individual days for Scotland, England etc... Tho not really a big deal... xxx
lol linz its just like st davids day (1st march), st paddys day (17th march), st andrews day and st georges and i dont even know when the last 2 r, and i live in england, can u tell its not a big deal here? but ok robyn another day 2 celebrate, july will b crazy! xxx
Hey Gals and Guys, Hey Robyn: How fun!! Well I have never been to the places u have been, but bet they are cool. I am not a beach fan at ALL, I dont like hot places. Thanks God that all tge attractions on the Mexican Pavillion are indoors. But hey u know that funny part. I love YOUR country, it so nice, I love cold weather and Canada is so fun and there is so much to do and see. I am even thinking of studying in Montréal, but nothing decided yet. Hey girlz: Can u explain me what bank days are??? What do u celebrate, or what is the meaning of the day??? Thanks See ya Robb ;D
Shame on you Sara not knowing the date of St Georges day and being English; it's 23rd April and St Andrews day is November 30th. Well just thought i'd let you know as i bet it's been bugging you, not!!!! See you soon. Gillian xxx
i know gillian, it's terrible! and i'm gona b out there representing us, oh my lol! it was buggin me actually lol robb - bank holidays are like national holidays in the UK, its called a bank holiday, because the banks are closed, a lot of people have the day off, and shops open late, close early! xxx
you beat me to it! was going to mention bank holidays. Other people celebrate their independence, we celebrate the day the banks shut :
Haha yeah we're crazy arnt we! I gotta say Sara i couldnt remember what day it was on either - i think a lot of english people dont - so we're representative in that sense! At my interviews i was asked the difference between scottish and english people... I said the only real difference is that they are more openly proud of their country. Whereas english people, may be proud of their country but only tend to show it when it comes to football, rugby etc... But having lived abroad as made me more proud of where i come from... xxx
