I just went in to get my police check, only to notice that my passport wasn't in my purse and (fml) probably lost. It's my only form of photo ID aside from my Ontario health card, which isn't accepted as valid photo ID. Eeeee. Here's to hoping things get sorted out!

 

hey everyone! i just have a few questions...
has anyone booked their flights yet? and if so what time are they arriving in orlando?? Anyone leaving earlier than the 6th?
And also is anyone coming from Vancouver? i'll probably fly out of Seattle because its about $200 cheaper and the flights arrive wayyyyy earlier and the flights shorter.

Will be arriving Sunday or Monday , How on earth do you plan on taking a years worth of personal belongings on a plane I guess we are going to have to pay extra baggage. West Jet and Air Canada have seat sales till the 13Th of this month, So If I fly I will be booking with in 3 days , Flying out of Toronto My mom and I may drive she keeps switching her mind. lol Grr parents lol But Don't you just love them.

 

I booked on the air Canada seat sale too! I'm flying out of Ottawa though.
I plan to pack light and buy most of what I need down there (I'm a light packer most of the time anyway)
My whole family is also coming down to visit for Christmas, so anything I missed they will bring down with them, which is good because I'm a little absent minded.

 

Wow Its all starting to come together , Lucky you parents for Christmas holidays , Mine are looking end of Feb or March sometime, Not sure how much I will bring , but I'm sure I will be doing shopping too. Booked West Jet Monday Dec 5Th arriving 1 PM in Orlando

I just got an e-mail from Kristen saying my Visa stuff is in the mail! When I get it, I think it will finally hit me that I'm going to Disney World for a year! Eee~

I recieved an e-mail too, my VISA is also on the way! Was looking at the location of the housing, my family stays at a hotel in the same area so I don't think I will be as lost as I think I was going to be.

I'm arriving december 5th and thinking of staying at one of the resorts but I havn't decided yet!

I am waiting on confirmation if I am leaving december 6th or not...

I applied from Germany for depature between january and june, fully preparing for a face2face this month... but when I talked to our German representative in France she was like "Disney is actually looking for someone from Germany to work in merchandise starting december 6th"... I was ll like O.O soon!

I had my phone interview with the actual Disney recruiter last tuesday... I personally have a good feeling but who knows... maybe I did talk her ear off way too much.

how long did you guys have to wait after your face2face interviews or phone interviews with the recruiter until you knew if you were going or not?

I will stop rambling now, I am just excited and nervousssss...

 

Yes, I totally agree with you but waiting is getting soooooooooooooo frustrating! :'(
Anyway, good news: another Italian girl will leave on Dec. 6, though I don't know yet whether from Milan or Rome. One mre people who'll join the group! Yeah! ;D

About me I can say that it took a bit of time before I had a departure date. I had the phone interview in mid-January, the face2face interview in Milan in early february, then I was waitlisted and around April I found out I'd leave on Dec. 6. It was a long process for me, but you seem luckier than me, LOL

My visa stuff is on its way too! Im so excited! im a little nervouse though to, I hope i dont feel to lost, because i've never actually been to Disney World before! ah crazy! Has anyone else never been ? :-\
