I got some more $ yesterday, woop woop, finally I have some to spend in Walmart ;D

 

LOL. I would be going crazy doing the appointments in November. Even if I was told. Those darn visas scar me. But I have heard of people getting them fast. Maybe this way they put rushes on them so you guys can get them sooner. I don't understand that stuff but I wish you all luck with them. Just another great reason to maybe meet up again. That would be cool. Even more exciting now that you know you got in.

So we CAN do the program more then once? See I hear on here of people doing it more then once but on the Yummy website it only says you can do the summer one twice. I hope we can do it more then once. I have a feeling I am really not going to want to stay away. LOL.

This is mainly a post for UK people, did everyone get the email from Michele about our visa petitions? They're being sent out to us today so should be with us in a few days which means....we can book our appointments for as soon as we like!

If anyone wants to meet up, is there a day/time etc which people want in particular?

I know Sam said about meeting me and Claire as we're travelling together so it would be cool to meet beforehand! Anyone else interested? I'm free any time so am happy to go whenever ;D

I can't believe this is really happening now, it's coming round SO QUICKLY!! xxx

I'm booked after many phone calls and even more questions! My appointment isn't till 2nd week in November though. Better start wearing gloves now though.... it'll be typical of me too graze them now. So glad it's booked, just need too fill the online application in now.

 

Rach, which date are you going? Have you gone for an early appointment? I'll try to book mine tonight I think so if anyone's around I'll be on msn woop woop!

Hey guys...Im a lil confused about this visa malark. Ive done it before but cant remember anything..margh!

Im hoping to get the 10th Nov but I dont think it will be possible as when i ring up wit will prob b on the weekend. Unless they close late!

What do u have to have to make the appointment? Sorry to ask just sooo confused and desperate to do it but not sure i have the right info.

Hey Sam,

How's things?!

As far as I'm aware, when you ring up you need your debit/credit card to pay for the appointment, your passport number and country of issue (I'm guessing the UK?!), the forms that Yummy have sent you - just in case, oh and your diary!!

I'm calling today from work, hoping for next Wednesday, if not the 10th. But we can only take what we're given!

Once you've booked it all, then go on to the embassy website thing and fill in the form on there.

How's everything else going? I'll look again at cars at the weekend as I was paid today so will FINALLY have some money!!!!

All forms arrived and my appointment is Wednesday!!! Yes, 6 days.

Need to fill in those online forms now and get em printed.

Feels good being able to finally start ticking things off my list!!!

Anyone else not really feeling any emotion at this stage? No major sadness at leaving home and no real excitment yet either? My brain does not seem to understand what is going on. Maybe its because I have the cold.

Citywalk: I wish i could say the same thing but i have little highs where i get excited but becasue im leaving my boyfriend behind think its going a little fast, kinda sunken feeling. Once im there , it'd be easier.

Citywalk - I'm sorry you've got the cold. Just think though, it'll probs be your last one for a year, cos who gets a cold in Florida?! lol

I too have booked my appointment, it's next Wednesday and I've been told to get there to start queueing at 7.30am Heather and I are hoping to meet, probably at Bond Street tube so if you want to meet us there too you're more than welcome to!

Sam - if you get me a hat I swear I will wear it!! I don't think you realise how exc ited I will be that day and how many photos I will constantly be taking of the three of us....

Anyone know what they're going to do with bags/phones etc. I don't really fancy travelling across the country by myself without taking my phone!

If your staying at a hotel maybe you can leave your stuff there?? Ive heard theres a place round the corner from the Embassy that you can keep your belonging in (phone etc) but charge you £10 what a ripper! Think if it comes to it I will have to do it as I dont like the thought of being phoneless!

Hmmm yeah Heather just told me about that place. I'm possibly travelling in with the person who's house I'm staying at so I might be able to give them my bag to look after and go to their office after my appointment to pick it up. Not sure yet though.

I need to get my pics taken, any ideas on where the best place to do this is anyone?! I am aiming to do it this weekend so I don't have to rush around in London trying to sort it out!

Is it Snappy Happy? Its a high street photo shop and its green and yellow...Helpful aye..They do the exact size 4 copies for £6.
