So I'm seriously considering going out on November 29th with BA from Gatwick. Then hiring a car for a week. That'll hopefully help me get some things together and also give me a short break before the "work" begins.

Might even splash out on a corvette. ;D

LOL. Looks like if my time was important it would only be to meet people at the airport. Most people are a little too far to be getting to Detroit to fly. But you never know. I cant wait to meet all you. Cant believe we will soon be 3 months away from arriving.

Arriving Orlando at 16.25 on Dec 1st....Wohooo Not long to go! Its says the flights gonan take 9 hours and 45 mins. Is it me or have the flight tim,es gone up? I always thought it took 8 and half hours??

They changed my flight. I am now arriving at 11:30am in Orlando.

Its not till late October/November i dont think! I'm going too be stressing out nearer the time making sure it all goes okay.

No they would leave the Friday before I think. My friend who is down there is rooming with a girl leaving that day... unless she can get in to be there the full year. So if I am correct that means that they would be leaving Nov. 28th. Or atleast that is when their contract would end... Unless they are like us and bumped later due to the holiday. I don't know much about the American thanksgiving to know when it is this year or such. That is sad. How has your time been there. Still a few more months to make some more magical memories.

 

Hey, Michele told me that we can officially move into housing from 12pm on the 2nd. So I intend to be at Vista at 12 on the dot! Hopefully being there early means a better pick of rooms/beds etc.

***EDIT - Durh, I just realised you said VISA not VISTA!! Haha, ah well. Yeah as Rachel said, I was tol November by Michele, its usualyl only a couple of weeks before you go I think :-\ ***

Sam - I think I will be with you on the crying/boyfriend front. I was going to get a bus to Gatwick but now my parents have said they'll drive me, which is great as it means a bit more of a lie-in and a more comfortable journey! Anyway, it looks like the boyfriend might be joining us so I will probs be VERY emotional at the airport! Although I might just be laughing about the awkward 3 hour car journey he will have to face with my parents once they've dropped me off! lol

As Claire already said, I'm on the same flight as she and Sam.....

I'll be hiring a car for the first day to get all our stuff to housing and go shopping! Then, if all goes to plan, I (or maybe even, we) will come back to the airport on the 2nd to meet the rest of you guys!! YEAH BABY!

Kirsty you always seem to get me excited about FL. Im rubbish at facebook at the mo and wdwip so have been missing out of the exciting'ness'.

Yeah my boyfriend want to come to the airport too. Which is great but its going to be SO hard. Im going to feel so awful leaving him We will stick to our girly nights mourning when we get the occasional blues. Which involves extreme amounts of vino.... ofcourse.

Cant wait now..Its like a mini USA road trip..even tho its prob 10 miles..That'll do for me..Hope we do get first pic of rooms. Would b amazing..I would like to get an ensuite...

Do any of you guys wonder what your roomates will be like? My friend once slept walked and woke up trying to CPR on her roomate.....Now thats would freak me out! I loved that girl but i could never share a room with her...

What's everyone done for medical insurance? The ones I've been looking at are really expensive. Also I don't know whether to just go for a basic package, something tells me its safer to go a bit better than that though, just in case.

I'm at work now looking at Disney people's pictures and believe me it is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more exciting than sitting entering data like I'm supposed to be doing! I'm also putting a load of my dvds on ebay to make some extra cash for Florida. I sold 2 this morning, so thats an extra £10! WOW, every little helps I guess

LOL. Looks like I will be meeting you guys at Vista then. I will probably be reaching that place around 12pm too. If the traffic is bad then probbly get there as you guys are just leaveing. Stupid flight thing. Hopefully no more delays with it.

It is so exciting. I get my Disney pack soon. You guys from the UK already got yours? Lucky. Ours has our Visa in it though so maybe there are good point and bad points.

I am so excited to meet you all. It is so exciting. Now it is something worth talking about. When we all found out it was so far away. Almost only two more months. (Then then our counters will be saying one month.... and some weeks but who cares about them... they will be fun to count down when it is only them counting down.)

Im hiring a car as well maybe for a week, if not then until the 2nd anyway. Im planning on relaxing by the pool on the 1st and shopping later on that day!
