DCL staff 2011-2012

the fantasy dosent start till march 31st, but if you have the job at bibbidi boddidi boutique you leave middle of janurary cos you actually work at WDW and train in bibbidi biddidi boutique in the parks and then the feburary start date is for everyone else

 

medical on wednesday! i have a week to muster up some bravery, maybe if i knew what ship i was going to be on i could dream of that while they take my blood!!

 

Good Luck! I am not to fond of needles myself. I will let you know how it goes on friday! Here's to hoping we get our ship dates soon!

 

My medical is Friday too! I'll just try not to look at the needles :/

Maybe if we all wish hard enough we can get our ship dates this week??

Tom don't lie, you know your name is tennis timothy! (sorry to embarrass you ;D lol) i hope it's a PTC reunion on a disney ship!!!

 

Ahh ok Ron Sneezly lets not get into this on this forum lol! it would be amazing and so funny if we were on the same ship! I would enjoy pushing a fun with food butterfly in ur face (remember?? :)!

 

o hang on! it wasn't fun wit food! it was in the lunch hall, cake of some sort lol

 

I was going to reply saying it wasn't something from fun with food... def in the lunch hall with cake from someone's birthday at camp... but i didn't really think anyone here cared to know! lol... but since you brought it up, thank you for shoving cake down my throat, tom, and putting frosting in my hair... mickey mouse and the whole gang frowns at you!!!

 

Has anybody gotten their luggage yet? I am trying to find a good piece to buy but I'm not exactly sure what is right!

 

I have a few recommendations for you if you'd like...

Kohl's has High Sierra duffels which have amazing compartments/storage space and it rolls too. Best of both worlds.

I have a back pack called the ebag weekender, it is amazing for not just a carry on but a day trip bag and I have used it for many weekend trips.

Also, Target has some good luggage options the Swiss brand bags are known for durability...

And another just good luggage option is always LL Bean, they monogram your stuff for you too which is always a plus. I believe they still have a lifetime guarantee on their luggage and backpacks...I still have my LL Bean pack from Middle School and High School.

 

anyone leaning more toward duffel bag than actual hard suitcase??

I just ended up ordering a extra large rolling duffle bag and family sized personal organizer from llbean.com. I fell in love with the bright colors and the reviews are totally awesome!!

I have my medical in the am I will surely post after I am done with all the details!!

Finished up my medical today!! It was very simple; height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, vision and color blindness test, hearing test, urine sample, blood test, checked the reflexs and ear mouth and heart beat. All in all pretty painless even though i have a bruise from the blood test.

Also I ordered my shoes and my parents surprised me with purchasing the wheeled duffle bag and personal organizer from llbean as a congratulations gift!! I also asked the guy who does my hair to order the big salon bottles of shampoo and conditioner for me since I have a LOT of hair. So YAY for everything being ordered and done!!

Now, just have to wait for the ship date!!

 

Yep physical was easy! No word on the leave date this week, I was advised that dcl should have my physical results Monday or Tuesday so here's to hoping for a word back next week!

 

Here's hoping those of us waiting to hear back on ship dates this week get word!!
