CRP - Commencing Sept 2008 - Who's applied??

I too have just re-applied for oct/nov 2008 as I applied far too early last year as I couldn't wait and I wanted to send in an updated cv! Fingers crossed...it's such a long wiat, I think I may need to go to WDW in the mean time to get my fix!! :

 

I've applied for Dec 2008. Nice to meet all your folks! Just think not too long until phone interviews begin ;D ;D ;D

 

I know, quite scary! But I can't wait...don't want time to move too slowly though!

are the phone interviews in january? or beginning of february?

well yummy have said that they will contact us between january and februry for the interviews so im assuming it will be end of january....

 

Aren't you guys afraid that you won't get through because I am looking so forward to it but at the same time don't want to because the spaces are limited.....don't want to build my hopes up!

 

i know what u mean! to be honest though this place has become a bit of an obsession now and i cant help but feel excited!! never mind ill keep reapplying till i get it!

 

haha yeh me too. i keep talking like im going and i've been accepted. i've not even had the interview yet my hopes are already built up so not being accepted does really worry me. a lot now i think about it.

 

dont worry jo! we both have to be accepted cuz remember we are going to leave in the same day and going to be roomies!!! hahahah ewe have to go around the parks with our ears on! hahaha we have so many plans! so we both are going to be accepted!!! =) hahahah

I'm getting really worried now because my CV isnt ready and I havent got it in, but want to go in the sort of sept - dec time. Seriously screwing myself over about it, but then, looks like im the only male going (applying) - woooo me!

Hi guys, I applied for CRP 08 ages ago (maybe 6 months ago, or something like that!) and was told I would hear back end of 2007/start of 2008. Can't remember if it was on wdwip.com or not, but someone mentioned e-mailing them again in December to 'remind' them that they had my details, and that I was applying for CRP, etc. Has anyone else done this?

I heard word on a couple people doing that. To be fair you probably don't need to, but its nice to get some confirmation that you're still in the system for Jan.
I think it'd be fairly harmless to just drop a reminder, say you applied a very long time ago but that you're still interested and really looking forward to hearing from them in the new year.
Or you could tamper a little with your CV a wee bit and say you're emailing an updated one since you wrote the last one so long ago, that way they'll find you in the system and check you're there etc.

theb5: remind them that u are on the process doesnt hurt any one right? that way they will see that u are still interested

 

i guess it wouldnt hurt to do this at all!!!

it would be gunny if yummy got loads of phonecalls all of a sudden from people reminding them they are interested in the position!! lol lol!!
