Iv been on yummy, which other sites can you apply on? Ohh sounds like a long process but i sppose they want the right people. Whats this waitlist thing? Like who goes on it? I thought u either got it or didnt lol. Sorry about last year, have u reapplied this year? Thanks for the info leeds disney fan! x
yeah i've applied for the CRP role this time rather than the ICP summer one all people from the Uk and canada apply via yummy it sound a long process but isnt really, not sure what the wait list is all about think its to do with the number of people who can go vs the number of opportunities at a given time
Yummy is the recruiter for the UK and Canada. There's other companies for other countries. As for the waitlist... after the F2F interview, if they like you then you'll either be given a place immediately or get put on the waiting list. The waiting list basically means they like you, but don't have enough positions available at that point, and will get in touch if anything becomes available. It's in place so that Disney can get extra people out there on semi-short notice. For example, if the season proves to be busier than originally expected and more staff are needed, or if people leave mid-program and need replacing. To make Leed's post more readable, the application goes as follows: Send in CV If not good enough - sent an email saying sorry. If liked - sent and email suggesting dates and times for a phone interview. Have a phone interview If not good enough - sent an email saying sorry. If liked - asked to go to London for a face to face (f2f) interview on a certain date. Have F2F interview If not good enough - sent an email saying sorry. If liked a LOT - given a departure date straight away (this is also sometimes dependent on when you're available from) If liked, but not enough places - put on the waiting list for 6 months. You may or may not get given a departure date in that time.

Name: Jen Country: Canada Age: 29 Apply already: Heard last week selected for a phone interview Occupation: Customer Service Agent for a Major Canadian Airline
Name: Melanie Age: 19 Country: Germany (Voerde, near Duisburg) Already applied: not yet Position: can't decide, but I think I would prefer F&B I want to apply for September - December 2011. When do you think is the best time to apply? I'm extremely excited!
Hi Melanie apply right now... the Castings are on 28th and 29th September for departures between June and December 2011 (as I know)...
But I thought the Castings in September are for early 2011? And that the Castings in April are for late 2011?
Hey! Im completely new to this but have a telephone interview for CRP next week. Eeek! Im excited and nervous all in one! x Name: Vicki Age: 22 From: UK (S.Wales) Applied before: No Recently graduated
Just sent my application in today yay! Fingers crossed they get back to me soon. I was on the ICP programme last year and loved it so here's hoping
is it hard to get on the program? did you get on first time the last time you applied? i'm very nervous i won't get on it because there seems to be ALOT of people that have applied and got phone interviews :\
i got in on my first application last time (in 2007) and ive just found out today that ive got a phone interview for it again so it is possible to get in first time, but yes there are literally thousands of people who apply so yeah there is a lot of competition for places.....and remember out of everyone who gets a phone interview only about 50% will get to go to the face to face interviews and then id say out of that group maybe 25% wont get a place on the program.....so theres still a way to go for all of us!
last time after the face to face interview i was told i was on the wait list - i emailed them straight back asking if iculd reapply and they told me to wait for a bit then a day later i got the job offer at my f2f interview there was around 100-150 people and about 20% got jobs so its pretty sitff (they interviewed over several days as well in each location) getting through to the phone niterview is an achievment really
oh no thats knocked me down alot! good luck with your interviews, i haven't heard anything yet. i'm not expecting to either really :\ haha
dont give up hope! Just wait and see, they will get back to you either way so you will find out, fingers crossed! and if not you can always apply again for the next round of applications
thanks hun, yeah that's true. what's it like the program then? did you really enjoy it? where did you work?
for the CRP you have to work at the UK pavillion in Epcot (if your from the UK) and you either work in food and beverage or merchandise (in F&B you work in the rose and crown bar, the dining room as a server or on the podium taking people to their tables etc and in mech you serve people in the UK shops) I was a server and it was brilliant, great year, amazing people! cant put it into words, its just amazing!!!! have you had a chance to look into the program much yet? whats involved etc?
