CRP 2009 Update

so im feeling pretty bummed out

cos kristen called my house... at 9am, after i worked till 2 last night.. and my dad answered and said i was still in bed THEN she asked when a better time to call back was and my dad said 1 this afternoon, WELLL I WORK TODAY 1130-730 and i cant have my cellular at work.

i really dont think kristen is going to chase me around trying to get my interview, so i am uber bummed out. :'(

Im From Alberta...although I use to live in BC (Victoria to be exact)

 

i never got called yet! Although our power was off this morning, but that shouldn't affect the phone lines. oh dear. Im from BC (courtenay on vancouver island) but go to school in ontario, so either side of the country would be fine with me, if they start out here i'll just fly back for the interview...if they ever call me that is

hey i just had my interview!! yikes! i was nervous but smiled the whole time and might have talked a bit fast! haha. Kristen was super nice though!!! She just asked the routine why do you want to go, tell me about canada and your town, and the email, age and job preference questions. when i asked how many people they were looking for she said that it is all based on each persons merits and that if disney likes everyone then they will just put them on different programs and take them all. she also mentioned how a lot of people had said they would be willing to travel for the interviews! haha. anyways, i'm really glad it's over and i think went well, but did she right out tell you that you had a face to face ? because she just said that they would keep in touch about the next stages of the process and that when i move to uni i should email her my new address in case they want to send me 'post'. it sounds positive but she never right out said it.

i told her about my disney tingles that i get and she said thats cute

i actually asked her if i had a spot for the interviews and she said that she cant confirm that but she will be in touch

Yeah she also said to me that she would keep in touch about the in person interviews, since as previously mentioned they need to figure out which major canadian cities majority of us live by. I'm hoping for Calgary or Edmonton haha...but I will of course travel.

Man I am so excited...I want to hear back about the in person interviews so bad...I want to go to DW so bad!! this is all I can think of haha (good thing I am done school otherwise my grades would be slipping! lol)

 

It seems like most of the people on here are from out west... I live in Ontario and I'm getting really nervous that I haven't heard anything. I know they'll call me but are there any other Ontarionians in the same boat?

i totally agree! my grades would be slipping so bad.... im scurred for septemeber when i start school and have disney on the brain

 

especially if i don't get chosen to go in february. the whole of second semester i'll be writing essays or exams and be thinking 'i could be in disney right now instead of writing this test!!' that's why i want to go asap! waiting until may would kill my gpa

 

i had to tell them i was available till mid august cause im going to school in fall, spring and summer next year so that one year off doesnt screw up my degree

 

Has anyone heard anything back yet about in-person interviews yet???

 

I haven't heard anything yet :-\ But I'm not really expecting to till at least mid August

I'm still waiting for my phone interview too, and I am so nervous!! I always feel really awkward talking on the telephone so hopefully I'll be able to overcome that for this one call at least. :-[

Anyway, to briefly introduce myself, my name is Sarah and I'm from Victoria, BC. I'm actually a little surprised to hear they were doing interviews today, considering a couple provinces had a "holiday"! haha.

 

So I just had my phone interview, and I don't feel like I did terribly well ... but hopefully I did well enough to get to the face-to-face interviews, at least!
