Ahhhh Laura, this topic has turned into a little trip down memory lane!!! How much did I laugh when you mentioned the broken window!!!!

The Canadian costume may look comfy, but don't be deceived!!! The shorts were such an odd size. You had to go up like 2 sizes from your normal size and then they still fit funny. If you find a pair that fit you really well, DON'T GIVE THEM BACK!!!! Just wash them yourself!!! The shorts were great in the summer, but in the winter, you FROZE!!!! In the winter, the guys have pants and the girls have culottes...horrible things. Very breezy and actually colder than the shorts. We got lumberjack coats too, but you weren't allowed to wear it unless you wore the horrible culottes, so there were lots of us freezing our bums off on the carts cause we didn't want to wear them!!!

A tip during rainy season...bring extra socks!!!! I wish I had a pic of me after I closed the cart in a torrential downpour!! My boots didn't dry for 3 days!!! Felt sorry for the UK girls when it rained!!!!

The UK F&B guys costume was so comfy!! I'd get home from work at 10 and my bf who was only on an AM would still be wearing his blue pants just lounging around!!!

Hey Shannon!! How are you?? Long time no see. Are you back in Toronto?? Pretty damn cold huh! How was the rest of your contract?? I can't believe that I have been home for almost a year! It has gone by so quickly. You are so right with the costumes. I didn't give mine back. I think about every 3 or 4 months I traded mine in, if I could find a good pair. Never wore Culottes. For some reason, F&B were allowed to wear the jackets and shorts. I don't understand Culottes. Why couldn't we wear black pants?? Would have looked fine. Some guest actually stole one of the jackets. Who would want one!! Ohwell whatever. I remember the good 'ole days of 3 rainfalls in a day.... I loved closing the popcorn cart.

Shan - this is a really stupid question and i apologise in advance. but do u remember what colour socks the Uk girls had to wear? Just thinking so i could buy some - dont think my eeyore patterened socks will fit in with the Uk uniform
