think i will laugh so much at the costumes on first day! How many days after u get there do u start work? and do u get paid for days training in the shops?

How often do merchies rotate round the shops? how many shops are there? and which one is kidcot in?

oh there were plenty of hotties if you look at them in that way but wen u work with them u just dont even consider it really, well maybe a little!

now for all these questions......

yes u do get paid for your training days, i believe it was around 2 weeks after i arrived that i first gt paid, all 50 dollars of it lol

i was once in a single shop for 3 hours cos cds was playing up (cast deploment system) but usually after an hour you move on to the next shop cos they ahve a rotational bump....

it used to go like this......someone would sign into the pc and it would say "rotational bump" that person would have to go out to the merchandise cart (wat a bugger) and then each person would move from their current position to the next

- uk cart to
-uk sports to
-uk crown and crest to
-uk tea caddy to
-uk queens table to
-uk toy soldier to
-uk kidcot to
-sign back into computer

where that person would usually get their own break or someone elses or if not they mite pick yp one of the positions that would be abvailable if we had too many cms in........ like merchantainer (loved that position cos u dint get moved on in the bump u just got to be it all the time until someone broke u and u basically just stayed on the tea caddy side talking to guests and stocking and it was actually my fave position!) apart from floorstocker, or floorslacker as we called it! on occassion where we were hugely overstaffed you might get a 20 minute task like "perform magic tricks" and one time me adn my mate got this so we dressed up in the childrens dressing up stuff it barely fit us and we went out onto the street to perform magic tricks with cards for guests! it was hilarious but we had a lot of fun. altho we didnt stay out long cos it was too hot!

kidcot is positioned in the toy store at the back where the characters do meet n greet

and yes, u will laugh at yourself and others on your first day in costume, but not for long as you are dragged away to your pavillion for your tour!

cant remember how long after i arrived it was before i got on with my OJT (on job training) maybe a lil over a week?

I totally know about costumes not being specially from the country,
come on I dont see any Mexican traditional costume to look as the one I will have to wear!!!
I do not quite agree with the hair cut for me, come on let be a little bit longer
but i know I cant change that, so I will just fit in.
Hey the Brit F&B costumes are way nice!!
They are not that colorful, and I do recall Brit traditional costumes look like that.

Lindsey - we dont start till 23rd wow! thats like after Sara arrives. Does that mean that on those first 8 days all we have is the 2 days of traditions? I wondered why Laura only got $50 pay after 2 weeks!
Wow so thats like 6 days to explore - there must be something else planned surely?

im not sure really. im sure if had all that time off we'd have been told about it by now so we must have to do something but not sure what. maybe on the job training or something and we properly start fully trained on the 23rd. not sure. hopefully we'll have a few days off though! cant wait to show you around!

Lindsey - yeah it doesnt seem to make sense that we'd have that many days free. I was sure it was 15th free then 16th disney uni, 17th epcot traditions then training. Cant wait to explore tho!
