And i know for a fact theres a huge selection on gluten free stuff in supermarkets there. My grandpa needs this kind of food, and always finds great things in the states. :)

I am an initiated member of the Canadian Girls Drinking Team.... worst hangover of my life but a ton of fun.
I'm also an honorary member of the UK Lasses, (Le Cellier was closed for a week in '07 for renos, most of the F&B staff took vacation which meant) Girls was cancelled for the week, so I joined UK Lasses for the night. And a fab night it was.

I've actually done two contracts, lived in Chatham for one and the Commons for the other, so I can tell you there is quite a difference between the two.

Life in the Commons, also known as the Disney Bubble; I've compared it to life in a pressure cooker, very isolated and things move quickly. Unlike my time in Chatham, I worked lived and socialized with alot of the same people. This can make things tricky. The countries can have a tendancy to be a little cliquey, Monday nights (as fun as they are) can feed into that. And the gossip mill runs a nuck. Make sure anything you do (or anyone you do) you will be ok with in the morning or it will bite you in the butt. My advise ... don't hook up with anyone from the same country without really thinking it through, otherwise you end up with friends, coworkers and roomates talking about you (cause they're all the same people). Besides some diversity is fun ;) rawr

One of the biggest pieces of advise I can givve on making your Commons life less than common, make friends from around the world! Best desicion I ever made.

You will be in either the Commons or Patterson, but in a wellness apartment, meaning absolutely no alcohol in the apartment (even for cooking). But its not like they isolate all those under 21, you'll still be in the same complex as people of all ages. Congrats!!! What will you be doing?
