See Matt, if you had a wicked eye patch you could wear it to the movie and have it decorated with a super awesome monster on the front! Or turn it into like a wild monster eye!

We're going to design a whole line for you Matt, it'll be a-maz-ing!

I'm in Edmonton, Canada. It is opening today, so maybe released here before the UK?

As for the eye patches... design some cool looking ones, and I will wear them for sure!

Matty, are you opposed to glitter? :D

oooooooooh you totally need a glow-in-the-dark one too! Then it's like the floating eye patch when the lights are off <cue creepy music>

I might go see that Taken movie tonight, so cue the action/suspense!

Shay, the Monsters and Aliens will be waiting for you whenever you are freed from the clutches of school! Then you can go hard with the movies!!

Gah, sometimes I have a movie addiction and just want to see soooooo many! Been hearing "I Love You Man" is really funny (and it has like 80% on rottentomatoes.com which isn't often seen!), and just saw the trailer for the new "Where The Wild Things Are" that's based off of an old kids book I used to read - looks neat!

Yeah, usually I think of it as a total write off (the I Love You Man movie) but I keep hearing good things, so who knows? At face value looks like something that's more of a guy movie so I dunno... it'll prob be a rental unless somebody who I really think has decent taste in movies tells me otherwise :D

Saw Taken last night... good... but good grief the bad guys had the STUPIDEST henchmen in the world! And then they would all die/get hurt in the most awkward way possible and make me laugh! Like "oh my god I've just been shot! I'm going to flail my arms like I'm swimming for a bit even though there's no apparent reason why I'm doing this, and then I'll turn into a plank of wood!" *thud* Rinse, wash, repeat :D

    How was Monsters vs. Aliens???

PS - Anybody seen this new clip from UP? Keeps looking cuter and cuter!

Christopher Plummer! Formerly Captain Von Trapp of The Sound of Music (way back when!). I think he might have been in National Treasure too...

Why would I Love You Man be a write off when Paul Rudd is the lead? He's hugely underrated.

Speaking of Paul Rudd, he voiced one of the characters in Monsters Vs Aliens (personally, thought the character wasn't as slimey/smarmy as he shouldve been) But yet again (as with Horton Hears A Who) Seth Rogen stole the show. Voicing the character Bob, he was the epicentre of the majority of laughs.

Definately worth a watch, quite a few laugh-out-loud moments to be had!

Gosh, I don't think I even realized that Seth Rogen was in Horton Hears a Who! Glad to hear you enjoyed Monster vs. Aliens though - I can definitely see how "Bob" would steal the show just from the previews I've seen! I'll def have to grab some people to go see that movie - laugh-out-loud moments are the best!!

We should go this weekend Shan or Monday or something... yes?? A break from vlogging and geocacheing maybe? lol!

My roommate saw I Love You Man and said it was funny but probably a renter I am thinkin!

Lol, I didn't end up seeing it yet. It does look good but my roomates and I ended up with other stuff to do.

I rented Ariel's beginning and watched that this weekend though, I enjoyed it! It reminded me, I think in the "getting to know you thread", of that question if you had to lose your vision or your sense of hearing, which one would you choose? Even with my eye problem right now, I would still keep my ears cause music is just too awesome! The movie is basically about music being banned from Atlantica, it is pretty good!

Hmmm I'm not usually big on checking out Disney animated sequels, but if you're sayin' the music is good Matt, I juuuuust might have to consider it!! :D

That's true about music though... I really couldn't get on without it! I'm pretty much obsessed!! And I say that as I'm listening and boppin' my head to music, as per the usual lol I so wish I could play the guitar just for kicks!!

How was the dueling piano bar???!!

Watched Race to Witch Mountain last night, pretty much hated it apart from the shots of Vegas, I want to go back :) its not a 'proper' Disney film though so I'm not too disheartened :)

Watching 17 Again tonight, I shall update tomorrow on how it went :D
