EYYY >MIca... that's a great idea.. i'll cook chilakiles and ... well.... fajitas i doubt it because the meat that u buy at walmart or publix wack!! it tastes like plastik.. haha... but i'll figure something out and all be pleased to taste the paasta u'll cook... when do u arrive??? ooohh and i just knew that the costume at electric umbrella has been changed.. there's no more skittles costume,. hahaha but well maybe u'll get to see it anyway.... good luck to everyone

Thanks. It was a long trip and I'm finally here in Orlando! ;D I was just in Savannah, Georgia and it's the best city in the world! It's the most haunted city in America and I stayed in a haunted inn, the Eliza Thompson Inn. And the food was soooo good, I love southern food. I didn't want to leave. Ok I'm talking too much!!!

 

While going through this topic I just noticed something...

Giorgio! I see that under your name it says that you're coming back, so I have a question...
Did you work at epcot in january/february 2006?? In merchandise? Because I met a giorgio while I was there and you look like him!!!


Or have I gone crazy??

Ciao everyone! I'm so tired, it was a long day. I had Traditions today. I got my Disney id, nametag and part of my schedule. And tomorrow I have to go back to the Disney University for another class.


Andrea...I love the pirate from the Goonies too! 
There is a place in Savannah called "The Pirate's House." It's where pirates would hang out in the 1700's and it's now a restaurant. I want to go there! 
Mmm southern food is so good. My favorite restaurant is The Lady and Sons, it's in Savannah. Fried chicken, hoecakes, collard greens, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes, peach cobbler and pecan pie! I'm getting hungry...
I love the Savannah Candy Kitchen. There is sooo much candy in there! Their pralines are sooooo good! ;D
I plan on going back to Savannah next month!

Hola Wen! Nice meeting you too. No, I'm not doing any program. I can't since I'm from the US and I already graduated from college, so it's just a regular job for me. I decided to join this topic because I'm working in the American Adventure, next to italy.
I just moved to Orlando because I was tired of living in Oregon and love Florida, I needed a job and I like Disney (ok...love...I admit it! ) It's my first time working for Disney and I just started today.

 

ohhh ok.. that's nice Lind.. i like Disney too.. this is my second program.. but i'm going to Mexico pavilion this time... the last one i worked at epcot too... but in electrc umbrella.. u'll know it, haha..... and it's nice u worknow over there.. ..well... mexican pav is not that near.. but... if u want a mexican friend i'm here.. ;D... i'm also trying to meet new italian friends cause i love Italy.. even if i haven't been there, yet.. i know i will some day... and i'd love to know italian people cause i think we're kinda similar.. we are loud and talkative, hahaha.. love italians!!!!

 

Lindsey I want to try the Southern food! then I make you to try the Calabria Food!

 

Wen...I would love a Mexican friend! ;D I know about the Electric Umbrella! I haven't eaten there but I've walked past it many times. Did you have to wear a crazy looking costume? My costume for America is funny looking, I get my costume tomorrow.
I haven't been to italy either but would love to go someday. I love italians too! ;D


Andrea - That sounds like a good idea! What do you eat in Calabria? I want to know what you eat before I try anything!

Yes Lind.. i used to have a very mmm.... shiny costume, hahaha but as far as i know they've changed it.. used to be a black one with colored spots but now i think it's an orange or red one.. i really don't know... see u over at Orlando then... good luck in your new job.. they use to send a lot of people from EU to worlk at Liberty Inn.. haha so.. maybe u'll meet some....and if u want to eat at electric, u should eat chicken strips, turkey wrap or the roast beef sandwich.. those are the best... don't try anything else,LOL..

Hola Wen Querida! the reason why we're not very active these days is that us italians are in the middle of a visa disaster!
unfortunately we were supposed to have the visa interviews these days but still from the us no form I797...i just went to the us embassy in florence yesterday with no i797 so i will have to wait for it to arrive before i can get my visa!
yesterday we received a email from wdw that we might have to postpone our departure so we have been very busy trying to figure out what to do!
Esperemos que todo salga bien!
