Character and Parade work!

  1. Hey thanks MrMet_GB

I wouldn't be looking into DLP for another year and a half at least, since I haven't even started my WDW contract yet, but a friend of mine, who has a passport for the UK (I think there's where, if not, it's somewhere in Europe) she wants to go work as a character in DLP, so any contact numbers/emails for DLP Canadian hiring would be grand if anyone has them. So I can pass on the information to her...thanks anyone :)

    Hey

Would it not be possible to work in WDW in entertainment at all then? Or not only that particular visa?

Oh, and what qualifications do you need? Because I would LOVE to be a character, but I have no dancing ability or any qualifications!! Although it seems like all you have to do with some characters is smile, write autographs, and sit on top of a float waving!!

Thanks for any help anyone can give :)

Im no expert on any of this stuff, but when i applied for the ICP and they were looking for character performers for the summer programme their comments on it were..

'You either have to be extermemely tall, extremely small or a brilliant dancer'

I was none of these lol so didnt apply for it :) but i know that one girl did. I know this isnt really relevent to working in Paris for a longer contract or anything as this was for the summer programme in Florida, but i assume they look for the same 'qualifications' for character performers acvcross the board
