Hey everyone! I talked to Kristen this afternoon and it seems to look good for me for the face to face as well. Nice to meet everyone. Heading to T.O. from Vancouver. Crossing Canada for an interview.... crazy? Nope.... just REALLY crazy... lol. ;D Anyways, like I have said in the other thread, if anyone needs some info on the program, just let me know. I'm pretty well versed in it by now.

Wow I'm jealous! I am so nervous. But it's not so much the interview its the waiting for the news afterwards.

 

Awh! Well, I definitely know what you mean afterwards! Like the whole process waiting for an email or phone call is the worst! Because the interview I am sure will be a very positive experience, and if you don't get accepted, it will feel sad in your heart! But honestly, I think that everyone, as long as you are yourself and present yourself well, cannot be turned down! They are looking for unique people with wonderful hearts, and I think everyone in this wonderful Canadian group is exceptional! So good luck to everyone!

I am so excited for the interview! Its going to be great. This is all I can think about!! lol

 

only 19 days!! That's crazy! I'm kind of starting to get nervous for the interview...are you all coming to the dinner on monday??

 

I had a dream about the interview... I was there and had a folder for copies of my passport etc. but when I opened it, it was empty!! Not impressed at all. Though I know that is not going to happen for the real thing. I can't believe that it's 19 days away, so soon. Unfortunately I will not be going to dinner, I fly in around 6:30 and live on the west side of toronto and i'm hoping to get a good nights sleep.

 

(Everyone who can possibly go to the dinner do it. LOL. Last Toronto interview everyone who went to the dinner ended up getting it. Now it is obviously not something that is "For sure" to happen again. But I think it was a little more then coincidence. It is the BEST way to get to know each other face to face. And then when you go to the interview you feel really comfortable with the people you made friends with the night before and it really helps I think. Also lots of people who did not go to the dinner got in too. But I think it helped those of us who went.

Also another good thing to know. Being from Canada, most people do get in. You might end up on a waiting list, but from everything I heard or saw, most Canadians in the end get accepted. Hope that calms people down. The F2F is really MUCH easier then the phone interview. More fun too. Good luck to you all and hope to see all you down there. )

 

I would love to go to the dinner but it doesn't look like I will be able to. I am staying at my brother's and he lives like 30-40 mins away, and I also want to get a good night sleep and we would be taking transit. So yeah I am a little bummed that I may not be able to make it.

 

8 days! has anyone else been creeping old posts about the face to faces? Life is so crazy right now with school and everything it'll be nice to have a break from it all and have a super intense disney fix...but then the wait! longest 2 weeks..ever? looking forward to meeting you all sooon

 

I can't believe it is so soon! I'm getting really nervous and it's all I can think about. I'm glad I have no tests in the next week and my assignments are done. I can just space out in class to survive this week. See you all soon

 

My job is getting really slow and dead now...so all I think about at work is this interview. Mind you I also think about at home and every where else. When I applied back in June I had hoped that I would make it this far, but never actually thought I would, or that it would ever come. 8 days!! This is crazy. so exciting. Cannot wait to meet u guys!

 

Hey everyone, I was just looking at the UK discussion and they are saying that they need to bring birth certificates. I didn't think we needed them but has anyone heard otherwise?

 

I don't think we need our birth certificate, just the 3 copies of our passport, the passport itself and our resume. It's soo close!

Just doing a google search and came across this website. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the interviews on Tuesday. Anyone else staying at the Wyndham the night before? I know I'm new to the site and all, but if the dinner thing is open, I'd love to find out about it....anyone got any info?

Hey Laura,
I think there are quite a few people staying at the Wyndham the night before. A lot of people said so in that e-mail chain. And also according to the e-mails the dinner is Monday at Moxie's in Fairview mall (It's really close to the hotel, a quick cab ride over) and it's for 7 under the name Disney World. I won't be able to make it so have fun and see you on Tuesday morning.

Well I am leaving in a couple of hours from Calgary to Toronto!! I am so excited. Can't wait to see you all! I don't think I will be able to make it to the dinner on Monday though!
