Have you guys heard anything about them being full in housing in the Commons? It happened when I first got here, so hopefully you won't have to live in Chatham or Vista for a while, it such a pain in the ass.

  2. which housing area is the best to stay at?

chatham square and the commons are the best :D !!
just because you're near everything and especially the "outlet" :D

  4. haha yeah i saw that on google earth I dont think you could get any closer, the housing is to the side of the premium outlet mall carpark is it not?

It's great for the internationals....we all inevitably get moved to the commons....and the commons has the outlet mall practically right across the street. you just cut through the car lot which is right in front of security, and your in the mall!

...commons is the best to stay in, all the parties and all your co-workers will be there.

and you have a starbucks in the outlet :D and a lot of famous brand.

The best for "animals" is to not stay at the first floor....

  11. Haha, well I dont know if one could do that. It would not be the proper thing to do hehe

This is all swamp land, so of course you're going to see snakes. I've only seen 2 since I've been here, though I have heard a few horror stories. You really only have to worry about them if your on the first floor. Pretty much all the snakes here bite....so if you see one....stay away.

  13. Oh such joys. I am not looking forward to coming across a Florida crab spider. I saw one in the Natural History museum and there not for the faint hearted haha

Spiders in General are just Evil. Smile But the odd thing is I'm a diver I not only have to deal with them on land I have to deal with them in the Ocean as Well. Bloody Crabs ( spiders of the Ocean). As Long as I dont see them I'm happy. I'm actually amazed i made it through a year in Australia so easily.

Snakes are still cool. but i'll be happier if they would just enjoy shading themselves out of my bedroom.

    Im terrified of snakes.
Came across 4 when i was out there last summer.
3 were acceptable experiences, 1 was sooooooo scary!

I checked online last summer and there are only like 6 venomous snakes in florida or something.
The rest are non-venomous - but i wouldnt wanna take the chance of gettin too near them! lol

See My Mom is terrified of Snakes. And I have pictures of Pythons in Australia wraping themselves around my body as I'm holding them ( dont worry I wont show you pics) but i'm terrified of Spiders. Litterally will run screaming. I dont find that there are many acceptable Spider Experiences unless they are behind about two to three inches of glass and I dont have to worry abou them being anywhere near my visable skin. When Lord of the Rings came out I went to go see it with two of my friends. knowing Shelob is coming i'm preparing myself not to freek. They both knowing how much I hate spiders were also preparing. I was sitting between them At the moment Shelob comes onto screen they both poke me right at the bottom of my ribs. I litterally screamed like a little girl and jumped like three feet into the air. They seemed to find it highly amusing that the entire theatre was laughing at me. So yes thats how bad it can be. Grin. I hope we all enjoyed Daniel's embarasing spider story> Grin alright boys and girls its time to leave the magic carpet and go back to our desks. ( I had to pick my neice up from school today) Is it wrong that I wanted story time to be longer? I was enjoying it.

  20. haha I am sure you will get it sorted. Does anyone know if its wise to bring any of the wii/ps3 or xbox 360 consoles over to the US? I think I would be lost without them, or would it be more sensible to purchase one over there?
