Um I agree. After living on a ship. If you dont get along with your roommate you are totally screwed. And really eventhough you may only sleep there. Its still your santuary as well or should be. Your room is in my opinion a personal space that doesn't or shouldn't get invaded. So I need to be comfortable there and if I'm not I cant sleep there because I wouldn't be able to relax. Which is one thing i'm nervous about. If my roommate isn't cool with me being gay. I just dont want any issues. Grin.

I've been here four months now, and I have yet to find anyone who has a problem with the gays. None of the roommates I've ever had have had any problems (or at least if they did they hid it well).

When they say there are a ton of gays through here it's not true, theres only a couple for each pavilion, and way to many straight guys, lol.

...By the way, I'm going to New York soon...just wondering if anyone has seen Legally Blonde, Wicked, or any of the new Disney Broadway shows.

I saw Legally Blonde after my college program its AMAZING, I was really really surprised! I think you should go for that one, recent Disney ones have not been getting a good write up, except obviously The Lion King

 

I agree with Pillage, lol. Havent really come across anyone that has a problem with gay guys. The appartments here are pretty cool for those who are gonna be cultural reps and will be living in the commons. Chatham and Vista are for College and international College.

All the rooms have their own bathroom in the Commons which is a good thing, and unfortunatly you will have to clean JP.

Grin. Well THats a good thing i'm glad. I had two roommates when I worked onboard ship that had issues. ALthough it was easily recitfied I outranked them and had them moved LOL. Grin.

JP is a big boi i'm sure he can learn a new skill while being in Disneyworld that doesn't involve servants. LOL. Grin. Hugs.

im havin a drama!
yummy called me today to go over my job offer and to say that they are posting out my info pack.
And we were chatting and i mentioned that it was my final year at uni.
And they were like "Oh - the program you have been offered a place on is for undergraduates only! We will need to check with CMU to see whether you can actually go or not!"
they said they'd call me back today but aint heard anything so hopefully tomorrow.
But having a major panic attack that i cant go. I was so excited about doin 6 months merch and 6 months hospitality!

 

Hmm, perhaps Disney will be ok with it, as technically you are still at the moment an undergraduate and maybe they will let it pass this once?

I have my fingers crossed for you anyway xxx

Thanks Sweetie. I'm glad i'm not a total dork. It was obvioulsy my mistake. Work is work although 9 Days till i'm done work yay. Then four days off before I leave the country and then four days travelling. THEN its the 5th of February and I'll be moving into Housing. Can I have my disney package anytime soon Please. Grin Ok.
