Canadian's heading out in June who haven't recieved your pack yet.

I wouldn't worry too much... Disney e-mail seem to come somewhat randomly.

 

Hey Andrea, I never got the email from Disney either and I emailed Eric and he said don't worry about it.

 

Just a little heads up, I didn't get any email from "Disney" until the month or two before I left, the previous one to those were from Eric.

 

Well ha! As it turns out, I got my pack almost a week ago. I called home and my sister pulled the sly 'Oh, by the waaaay... there seems to be this big UPS package for you. Been here for a while, actually.'
Ohhhh I wanted to strangle her. I'm having them send it to me because I can't wait another 40 days until I go home to see it!

 

I got my Pack today!!

 

Any canadians arriving in June 12th from food and beverage want to switch to attractions??

 

It's unfortunatly not that simple. You're going to have to talk to managers and such when you arrive and you may be flat out denied the switch.

i haven't received my pack yet, i leave June 12. Should i wait until i have less than 2 weeks before i go to call cast-a-way? Or should i just go ahead and start harassing Eric tomorrow? I love all this last minute stuff .

 

I'd give it until Monday since you found out late about your date (if I remember correctly. Am I right?)

You should be due for it soon based off of how late I got mine last year (when I had 5 weeks advance notice of my job).

 

I got my pack way ahead of time. Oh, it's strange how the times vary!

I also just got a Disney email today - from Disney International Recruiting, not Cast-A-Way. It gave a HUGE list of documents to bring and where to go and which terminal to wait at and how the first day will go down. The list of things and forms to bring is a little intimidating.

 

Thanks Jordan your right i only got 6 weeks notice fro my departure, I'll give it until Monday or Tuesday before i start bugging Eric.

I got a couple of emails from the recruiting team as well, lots of info to go over.

Question? do i need to wait until I've received the pack to pay that $85 fee on line?

 

I don't believe you have to wait, but you can also wait and pay it in Florida.

 

Oh good, because I don't have a credit card and don't really want to hunt down someone who can pay it for me. In that case, do we tell them ahead of time we're paying there, or do anything else?.. In case you know, since you seem to be pretty in the know about most of this ;D

 

Nope as far as I know you just go down business as usual but make sure you have the cash ready for your 2nd or 3rd day in Florida!

 

OK guys i leave in 10 days and still have not received my arrival pack. I have booked my flights and sent the itinerary to to the ip office in Florida, faxed in the CBC, I've paid the assessment fee and bought medical insurance. Is there anything else besides faxing in the acknowledgement form that i need or can do now? just in case i don't get it until the very last moment, i just don't want to spend my last day or 2 before i leave running around like a maniac trying to get this stuff done in time. Thanks.

 

Nope pretty sure that that's pretty much all you have to do once getting your pack. I suppose you could pay your program fee online (don't have the link but it's around on the forums), but you can also pay that when you arrive.
