Canadians for January 2010??

I got an email today from Kristen saying my application has been accepted and that they will call me within the next 3 weeks for an interview. Did anyone else get that email?? Eeeek, so glad to have finally heard back from them!!

Also, when did you send your application in just out of curiosity?

 

Aww thanks man! I sent it in at the very beginning of July. Not sure the date exactly. So I guess I didnt have to wait as long as a lot of people but it still felt like an eternity! But I must remember, there is still more to go... THE INTERVIEW dum dum dum lol. When did you apply?

 

Around mid-July, but good things come to those who wait!

I'd be really curious to know how many applicants they get. I know a number I was told once for the UK gang was 1000 or so applicants for 30 spots! Ker-aa-zee! But I've also heard that they're telling Canadians to spread the word about the CRP program this year, so I presume that the competition is not quiiiiite as intense as it is over there!

 

They said in one of my emails that they're "proudly still accepting Canadian applications". Or something like that.

 

mid july, hey thats not bad then, im sure you will hear back shortly! and if it is like you said (hiring more canadians) than no one needs to sweat as hard as they have been, right? plus, if they see that you want it bad enough, then the interview will be fine too. screw it, they should just accept us all!

Yeah seriously - but the phone interviews have gotta be fun for them - get to hear so many different personalities!

I applied way back on July 3rd and still haven't got the phone call... I wonder if they do it on purpose just to see how crazy we really are about disney lol. I'm almost positive they read this forum on a regular basis so Kristen if you see this, I am VERY VERY VERY excited to hear from you. There, that should do the trick lol. ;D

 

We will give digital telephone hugs upon said phone interview to show our appreciation!

How to give a telephone hug I'm not sure though...

maybe just be all "blah blah blah HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG blah blah blah"

Or hug the telephone... but that would just be awkward if someone at home saw that... "erm... Shanan... what are you doing?"

haha too true! He's probably frantically calling Yummy Jobs right now asking what the heck is going on because his nose is twitching up a storm with everybody worrying
