  1. Oh, I lied. Habs are in town twice in the new year. I forgot about the Panthers.

Nice! I haven't checked the schedule out yet, but I'm sure there'd be plenty of other teams that people wouldn't mind seeing. I for one, would not be opposed to seeing the Pens play! And also, we're gonna be there for a year, so depending on when we start, we'll have at least 3-4 months of the 2010-2011 season that we might be able to catch games at too!

Oh the leafs, they're the team everyone loves to hate. :D

I can't say I'd be too enthused to watch the Panthers, I mean with J-Bo gone, who's even on that team? But the lightning, at least they've got Lecavalier, St. Louis, Stamkos and Hedman... that would be exciting!

  3. I would also love to go see the Pens! They happen to be playing the Lightning on my birthday, so that would be a good birthday party option for me! :D That's true, I hadn't actually thought about that. :p Silly me... But what on earth are we going to do during the summer? This summer is KILLING me with the lack of hockey...

No, I'm definitely more into seeing the Lightning. Plus I checked, and that's definitely closer. They also have Ohlund. I don't know if that'll mean anything to you, but I grew up with him being on the Canucks, and seeing him there would be special for me. :) I think they brought him in to help Hedman, since he's Swedish too.

Right, he was a Canuck since the start wasn't he? He was the longest serving Canuck on the team when he left right? Yeah, it makes sense they brought him in to mentor Hedman. That would be an exciting game for your Birthday though! Crosby, Malkin, Fleury vs. the previously mentioned gang! Sends chills down my spine! (In a good way!) Hope I'm invited to the party! ;)

  5. Yep! Since he was drafted. I was just devastated when he left, he's a really solid defenceman. I think he'll be a really good addition to Tampa Bay, but I'll still miss him with us.

Why of course you're invited to my spectacular Pens vs Lightning hockey game! Everybody on here is! I will have to find some way to get to team to dedicate the game to me. CLEARLY this is possible. Bahahaha. :p

Anything is possible if you believe!

It could happen, we just need to find one of the high ups and use some Disney persuasion! We could offer to sing Happy Birthday to them if they come to the Canada Pavillion in exchange! We could even throw in a KidCot mask!

  9. That would be the best birthday... ever...

And then I need a picture with Hedman! Because he's nearly a foot and a half taller than me! :D

One of my friends and I met Hilary Duff at one of her concerts, she's not that tall, but my friend is 6'2". It was a funny picture!

Who would be your most wanted tall person to take a picture with?

  15. I'd LOVE to get a picture with Zdeno Chara. He's enormous!

On skates, preferably. That would be hilarious...

I'll take a picture with Goofy.... he's pretty tall without skates even ;) Plus I ruv him! Gawrsh!

Yeah, I really don't know the names of hockey people. Heck, I hardly even know the main rules! :D I know you get the puck in the net... and I know what icing is... and slashing... and I know that I like shouting stupid things and waving big foam fingers! :D

  17. Now imagine if we put Goofy ON skates! That would be awesome...

Oh, I only picked Zdeno Chara because he's six foot nine. :p But it sounds like you've got the hang of the rules! And you should try yelling angrily at the referees. At my Lightning vs. Pens birthday party.

Man. I really wish I could bring my car. I was reading about people bringing their cars on another thread and I'm jealous... because I have one, I just have no idea how I'd get it from BC to Florida. :p

Or dangerous... it is Goofy after all... he IS a bit of a clumsy fella!

I like to yell things associated with different sports and give players nicknames (since I don't know their real names). Par example: "OOOOOOH TWEETY BIRD JUST SCORED A TOUCHDOOOOOOOWN!!!"

Maybe for you Leafs lovers I'll just shout Go Leafs Go allz the time? :D What's funny is I don't even follow the team, I just love getting a rise out of people... :p

Can you say detour through California, or more specifically - Anaheim? ;)

  19. Haha... yes... you go ahead and root for the Leafs... I will just go temporarily deaf every time something Leafs-positive comes out of your mouth! :D See? And then everybody's happy!

Hahaha... while that would be incredibly amazing, yes... A 49 hour and 46 minute drive does not sound entirely appealing, as the longest drive I've done was just around four hours. :p And somehow I think a flight would be cheaper... But I'd have Wilson with me... Sigh... Dilemmas.

haha I so love the name Wilson for a car :D I'm so naming my first car Simba 1 after the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. I may even wear a safari hat whilst in it. But then I can point out random animals like it's a safari tour "and here we have my neighbour's wild jack russel terrier which thinks it's a doberman - please keep your hands and feet inside the moving vehicle at all times - the terrier might think you're a new chew toy." Ohhh or cue the hilariously awesome Jungle Cruise jokes! "Here in Oakville we have butterflies with wingspans that range from 12 inches to a whopping one foot!" :D :D or "oh, there's the neighbour's cat named Ginger. Watch out, Ginger snaps" heheheheeeee

I can't speak for out west, but it really depends on where you fly out from here. Far cheaper to drive an hour to Buffalo, NY and fly from there because the Pearson airport taxes in Toronto are out to lunch!

Still, it's one way to see the U.S. of A. if you drive! Get some other Westerners on board, and make like a week-long trip out of it. See some sights, like the worlds largest ball of yarn or stop at a Cracker Barrel in each and every state :D
