All I can say is that video is what it is like everyday of the winter here! Mild winter? You could call it that, meaning that temperatures only hit -40 for 3-4 weeks instead of 4-5.

I agree though, nothing would beat a Florida winter. Though sometimes I would miss playing shinny hockey and snowboarding etc... but I think I'd get over it, lol

Not exactly subtle... but I agree they are awesome! Have you been watching Kevin play video games?

FYI, it was -150 in Toronto for the entirety of winter this year. No, that is not an exaggeration... ::)

I think you put an extra 0 on there, I don't think that's even humanly possible to endure.
    -15 is shorts weather :p

  11. Yeesh... I leave for two days and this is what I come back to... Matt, I'll help you burn your room if it's decorated like that, if you like. :) :p

But seriously. This thread gets REALLY random...

    That's simply ghaaaaastly!

You have fun in your shorts, I'll be wearing an excessively large parka. (Note to self, get excessively large parka)

That's just the way we rolll! ;D

  13. I've never experienced an Alberta winter (and oh, I am SO glad), but our winters are not so charming either, though I'm assuming slightly warmer... Last year, the insides of my nostrils literally froze when I walked outside. It was bad. I didn't like it. Yay Florida. :p

Well I'm glad we roll that way. It's better like that. :)

There was a JK Rowling special on tv a few weeks back, and they actually showed her in a meeting talking about the attraction. The only part of the conversation you could hear though was some guy saying "....lunges at you"

If a robotic Dementor or Voldemort or what have you lunges at me, I'll be promptly ninja kicking the sucka!

  17. Maybe they'll have a REAL Dementor pop out at you!

... Or maybe that would be dangerous.

Sweet! I have some backup! If that ever happened, I'll definitely take you up on your offer.

Sorry, I have no input to the Harry Potter convo. I've seen the movies and they're enjoyable enough, but I'm not too into it.

  19. Oh, certainly you have backup if it's against the Leafs! ;D

I've already (sadly) done my research on which hockey games I want to go to... 'Nucks are only in town twice while they're on their month long roadtrip, and, since I know you're a Habs fan, I checked, and they're in town twice, but only once in the new year. So. If we want to go to more hockey games we're going to have to pick some more teams... :p

I'm clearly obsessive. I REALLY need to get something else to occupy my time! :p
