Still planning to hit the opening of the Harry Potter theme park? I'm seeeeriously hoping that the cast come out for it... that would be so awesome.

 

Psssshaaaaaaaaaaw! Come hail, rain, tsunami, you name it - I gotta be there for the grand opening!! I'd diiiie if I met any of the cast, let alone JK Rowling It's just confusing as to when they'll do a grand opening... I've been reading that by December of this year they'll be opening Hogsmeade and all the shops/restaurants there. Basically everything except Hogwarts and the big mysterious ride they're not talking about But I can't go until it's all completely dunzo and the red ribbon gets cut and I can RUUUUUUUUUN through Platform 9 3/4 (it would be cool if that's how you enter haha) with my Hogwarts gear on and just have at it! Plus with that new wand game they're going to have set up around the park, I'm going to be living the life of a witch that day! I should come up with a wicked witch name and just totally role play the entire day

 

Hahahahaha, I totally approve of that plan! Plenty of photo-ops on that day, hey?

I'm fairly sure you can audition for ENCORE if you're on the CRP. Louisa was on the ICP when we did it in 2006. She is currently on the CRP for the UK, so she may not be on here as much, but I know she wanted to join ENCORE, but don't remember if she was able to, there's a link to a bit of a discussion about it here, not much, but you might be able to message her:

I full intend on trying out for the Candlelight processional choir. There is a discussion here about it:

I think it is easier to do the Candlelight choir, from the discussion above, I noted that you have attend 10 rehearsals to be able to sing in the choir. The rehearsals start in Sept and there are 6 a week, so it'll be easier to work you schedule around it. It's the ENCORE rehearsals that are harder to get scheduled around for.

That's really good you made it that far! Every now and then I have dreams of being a star, but then reality kicks in and smacks me in the head... but one can dream!

As for wellness apartments, I don't think it really matters. All my roomates and I were in a wellness apartment when I did the ICP, and we had a blast! No matter where you live, it will be an amazing experience!

 

I saw that thread too! I think that would be such an awesome thing to do, I'd love to get some singing in while I'm there! Somebody had better bring something karaoke related... that's always ridiculously fun.

Don't get me wrong, my worries about the wellness apartment aren't because I want to party constantly, they're mostly because I'm afraid of other people in my apartment sneaking in alcohol and ALL of us getting terminated because of it. I just hope I would be with people who choose to party OUTSIDE of our apartment.

I love karaoke! Everyone is definitely invited to come to our place anytime as I have almost all the karaoke revolution games for Playstation! We will party constantly, just might not have the alcohol ;D

Oh man, seriously? Are you bringing your Playstation? Karaoke parties! I like those... And I reeeally enjoy murdering perfectly innocent songs, who have no idea what's coming when I step up to the microphone... heeheehee. ;D

I do have a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting story about wellness apartments and roommates and alcohol... I don't really want to get into it on here (I'll tell it in full when we're all hanging out in Flo lol)... but just know that, if your in a wellness apartment and you know there's people drinking in the apartment - either talk to them and sort it out or switch apartments... trust me on that!!!

p.s. I also am totes down for singing my brains out as much as possible!!! Hooray!!

Yeah, I'm totes bringing my PS3 with me! We are all gonna have so much fun it's not even funny! You know what else would be fun? We should try out the American Idol experience at some point! Then we, or at least I, can get mocked by the imitation Simon Cowell! ;D

Even for the American Idol Experience you have to sing pretty well I think, so I'm out on that front! I'll just take to singing and skipping down the street as per usual

Seriously, I have a slight obsession with music... I have over 2 months worth on my computer... I listen to it every day, so I just heart it, and I heart to sing along with it!!

Hahaha... that sounds amazing! Except, since I'm hoping for Merch, I wouldn't be able to participate. Ohhh well. I'll just sing exceptionally loudly to make up for it on karaoke nights.
