Canadians for January 2010??

Oh, I'll totally let you know! She did say "later in the year", which is totally vague, but whatever. I'm assuming they'll be in October. And she reminded me about having my passport ready, which is fine, since my passport doesn't expire for a while. She also mentioned that they're still taking applications. But I'm kind of hoping no one else applies so that we'll all have a better chance... Is that bad?

Awesome. I'm excited for you to have yours, too! I tend to get just as nervous/excited for other people as I do for myself.

So they'll probably just be asking basic stuff about it, like when it expires and whatnot.

I actually can't wait to have my phone call and then come on here and tell everybody about it!

My passport is going to expire next year, so I'll have to get mine renewed, so I'm hoping they can give some info on that, since you're not supposed to apply for a new one until your current one's expired. Unless there's a special circumstance, which this undoubtedly would be!

As for the food topic, I love Boma's, they have amazingly delicious soups! And I like Ohana's a lot as well, though I've heard they no longer have their scalloped potatoes.... =(

 

I just had my interview, guys! Two hours after I got the email about it!

It was really good, but she asked me not to repeat the questions... so just in case they're reading these boards... I didn't do it, Kristen!

It was fun, though, she was really, really nice.

Definitely sending a big ol' congrats your way! One more thing to cross off of the "waiting for" list At least they didn't keep you waiting all week for the phone interview - nice to get it done and out of the way!

 

Haha, thank you! I'm glad I didn't have to wait, but I was SO surprised that she called so soon. What did the email you got say, when you applied? Was it just a confirmation, or did it say they'd be calling you?

Ditto! Mine said good ol' 4-6 weeks of waiting fun! : So a little more waiting to go yet It's all good, I got my Disney movie and park tunes to groove to in the meantime!

 

Congrats! That is good, you can relax until it's time for the face to face interviews!

I'm hoping it is not an indication of the time they'll be calling people though... I wonder if anyone will get a call outside of regular business hours?

 

Even if they do Matty i'm sure you can always call them back if you don't get the call

 

Yeah, they're well aware that people have jobs or may even be in summer school right now, so they probably just try their luck, and if they get an answering machine just give you a number to call or suggest when they would phone again - so keep the voice mail empty
