Canadians for January 2010??

It appears as though we have a food obsessed group of Canadians here...

I only applied like YESTERDAY! ... and I already neeeeeeeeeed to know if i'm going or not! I'm so impatient!!!!!! lol!

I hate this waiting game it's the worst part!!!!!

I am so paranoid I am proof reading my application so it should be sent out tommorow

i am broke and my friends are out of town so i am spending my time worried about finding someone to go with yay distractions!

 

Food is great! One of the best things I love about travelling and going different places is trying out all the different foods! And WDW is amazing cause they have so many restaurants and type!

You could also write a story of a fairy tale to distact yourself. I'm sure that would use up some time... There's also the typical guy solution... video games! Yeah!!!!!

I saw the Harry Potter movie!!! AHHHH! ;D ;D ;D

Loved it! Lots of funny bits, had my teary moments, had a super jumpy moment with those damn zombie/body things (when they're trying to get the necklace horcrux) - seriously, I jumped like a foot out of my seat. I knew it was coming too, but frick! haha But see, here's the problem: Whenever a new Potter flick comes out, I immediately want to watch the next one. Like now. But no, I have to wait until bloody November 2010! Curses!! Guess I'll have to have an HP movie marathon... and then read the books... again 8) lol They're only saving grace is that Pt. 2 of Deathly Hallows is supposed to come out in July 2011, so at least we don't have to wait over a year for that one! lol

Video games are fun.... when they don't stretch into 6 hour long marathons! Plus I'm a Nintendo gal - those other systems are just all about shooting up ugly zombies and anything else that probably involves blood, guts, and gore Give me Mario Kart any day!

Also, the prime Canadian song has gotta be that Molson Canadian anthem! "I am, you know I am (you know I aaaaam), I am Canadiaaaaaan!"

 

Oh man, I'm jealous, but I'm glad you liked it! I can't wait to see it, it sounds so good.

Nintendo pretty much rules. EXCEPT Playstation 2 had the Kingdom Hearts games, and when you're as obsessed with Disney as I am (as you clearly all are ), you've got to appreciate them.

 

I love kingdom hearts <3 but I failed at it cause I couldn't figure out really how to work the ps2 controls when my friend had it in her dorm so i was a fan not a player XD

 

Ahh yes I was quite jealous that we did not have that on Nintendo! I think there was a Disney type kart racing game too... though I forget what it worked on... I just remember randomly being in Innoventions one year, and seeing it in some little video game corner they used to have! Oh and I remember playing it cause there was a Haunted Mansion level! Maaaan they need more games like that!

Playstation controls make no sense at all! Circle, X, square, tirangle, trapezoid, hexagon, etc, etc What's the point of even trying to play the game if you spend half the time trying to figure out what the heck you're supposed to press?! Maddening!

Also, I really want to play Quidditch right now. Why oh WHY can't we have flying brooms?!

 

I know I just would love to watch it cause I am terrified of height except when it comes to airplanes for some reasons

 

I really strongly believe that Quidditch should be a part of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. It's fitting - ergo, it should happen!

 

How are playstation controllers any more confusing than Nintendo? They're just symbols instead of letters... lol

Kingdom hearts is one of my favorite games, it comes Disney and my favorite RPG series Final Fantasy, how can it get any better?

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not complaining, but where are the guys? I mean I'm gonna need someone to play NHL with! ;D

 

haha I grew up with only nitendo systems so when I was fir asked to play a ps in high school I got confused.

and yeah really there needs to be some more guiys somewhere >< though nhl is an awesome game but I fail at it XD

Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 are the two best systems and the Wii is super fun too!... I can't get into Playstation and xbox and that crap, all you do is run around and blow stuff up or play sports... two very boring things lol

 

Hey, you don't have to be good at it, as long as you're willing to play, it's all good!

Shayna, I think you already know my thoughts about PS3 being superior to the Wii. Maybe you don't like the games that PS3 has, but you can't deny the graphics are way better. Also the PS3 has Blu-ray! You can't watch Blurays on the wii. You have to watch low definition Dvds... no wait, I'm sorry, you can't even do that on the wii...

 

Matt I think we will probably still be arguing about this until we are old and grey (and retire to Florida of course! lol!)

BUT... The wii allows you to dance and move and do cool stuff and be interactive! - Take that PS3! Plus... I was there when I saw your face light up playing the highschool musical dance game for Wii at Shanan's! lol! YOU KNOW YOU LOVE Wii!

 

Hey, I will TOTALLY play NHL. I may not be male, but I am pretty hockey obsessed. And I know how to work a Playstation controller, so... yes.

 

Ah but the question is, what team do you root for? Depending on your answer, Matt just might argue with you until the sun comes up MATT LOVES THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS!!! *evil snicker* :

Mayhaps the PS3 and whatever has "better graphics" in a game BUUUUUUUT does that make it a better game? hmmm think think think... I think Wii is more creative at least. Like Boom Blox is highly, highly addictive, and that's based on the old-school game Jenga! Steven Spielberg helped create it!

That said, Matt, I'll play hockey with you IF I can make my own custom team with custom jerseys (I think I'll make them pink!) and give them cool names like Zac Efron, Robert Pattinson, Chris Pine, etc...
