I arrived August 6th and had my coverage at home until the end of November. You coverage actually starts at the beginning of the month following your three month anniversary. My three month was Nov. 6, but my coverage began Dec. 1. I had it from Travel Insurance Coordinators as well. I only went to use it one time when I got a REALLY bad sunburn and my ear blistered so bad my roomie and I thought we might have to amputate it (NOTE: Florida sun is REALLY HOT...always wear SUNSCREEN!!!! ::) ) I went to a walk-in clinic in Lake Buena Vista (they have a sick bus that will come pick you up!) and they told me that they didn't accept that insurance and that it would be $125 to see the doctor. I was like screw that and left. Luckily my ear is fine. I found out when I called the insurance company that it was a matter of paying it and then claiming it back with them...which is the case with most plans...so be prepared.

The Disney insurance has about a million options...medical, dental, vision, whatever. You go to a class to learn all about it. I missed my class so just picked what people told me too. I never needed to use it, but I would have liked to use my dental coverage to get my teeth cleaned before I came home because I'm not covered here. I could just never figure out how to contact whoever my doctor was. The system is stupid...I don't suggest you miss your class and be all confused like me.
