Canadian Applicants!

Yesss

 

It's killing me. Every time I go on I see them and how happy they are, and I'm like "45 more days. I can do this."

 

Ugh it's killing me too! I don't know if its in our favour or not that so many of them are getting through... :s

 

On the plus side, there seems to be much fewer Canadian applicants, which hopefully means that less of us will get cut?

 

Good point... But do they have a set number of people to accept for both the UK and Canada, or total? I guess its each because I don't see how that would be fair...

 

I think it's just who's the most qualified for the job, you know? I don't think they have a set number at all. They have so many positions that need to be filled, and they need the best possible people to fill them, be it internationally or domestically.

Because, say they have set they're going to send 100 Canadians over, but only 80 of the people who applied are actually qualified for the positions needed. It just makes sense to me that they'd base it off of quality rather than quantity.

That's just my opinion, though. That's not backed up by any official facts.

 

True, but if they have like, 200 canadian applicants and all of them happen to be qualified for the job, there must be a rough number they have to go by? or at least a percentage of the applicants the can accept?
I don't know, I'm just starting to get really anxious over this whole thing! I thought the one month wait of last year was bad, but I don't know if I'll last all the way to november 15th! hahahah

 

I applied first thing in the morning on August 1st. I've made it this far! XD We'll be distracted soon enough, and then BAM! we'll get our e-mails

 

Fingers crossed! I wanted to start a Facebook group, but I feel like I'm getting ahead of myself...

 

Hahahha, we should probably wait until we get a prescreen XD

 

I go to UBC, and I haven't seen any ads about the Disney ICP. So hopefully, they don't have many applicants, so not many of us get cut! But yeah...this first month has felt like FOREVER! November 15th seems like it's years away!

 

And over here on the east cost, I've heard nothing at Mount A. A few of my friends mentioned seeing an add on their facebook, but that could easily be attributed to them liking so many of my statuses about it.

As for the wait, look on the bright side! We're almost at Thanksgiving weekend, and that seemed like forever away when I first applied back in August!

Hey! Has anyone heard back from Yummy? When are Canadian applicants supposed to hear back regarding the next step? Lol I'm so impatient

 

November 15th! I'm toats impatient atm, too. All the UK applicants talking about their interviews is making me anxious!
