Just thought I'd post the questions I was asked in case any Canadians will be having their phone interviews too. Not necessarily in this order: 1. Do you have a Canadian passport? 2. Do you have any visible tattoos or piercings? 3. Why do you want to work for Disney? 4. What would you take out of this experience? 5. How would deal with working long hours in the extreme heat? 6. How would you deal with having a roommate possibly from a different country? 7. What position are you most interested in: food and beverage, merchandise or attractions? 8. Do you have any other questions? Mine was very fast. Only about ten minutes, maybe even less. I talked with Kristen and she was extremely nice to me. She let me finish my little speeches I gave for every question even though I was completely breathless, stumbling over my words and kind of freaking out. Good luck to everyone in their phone and face-to-face interviews! Fingers crossed!
I just applied! Not sure if I'll get an interview but hey! At least I applied. I'm already checking my email every two minutes.
Yaaay congrats for applying!! Welcome to the waiting game lol it's a lot of fun, but the time can go fairly slowly at times haha let us know if you have any questions
Thanks everyone for the welcome! Question: How long did you wait before hearing about a phone interview? And do you know if your application has been rejected?
I got my e-mail about the phone interview on July 27th . I'm assuming if you weren't invited to a phone interview that they wouldn't just leave you hanging , I'm sure they would send you some form of an e-mail either way .
I really hope they tell you if you're not in! :O I heard about my phone interview about 2weeks after I sent my application...
I would imagine that they would let you know if you didn`t get a phone interview. Disney and the recruiters are very professional so I`m sure they would send out a polite rejection email. After applying I got an email saying I would hear in the next 4 weeks about a phone interview (and it was very close to 4 weeks). It depends on where they are in the application process. Things can go very fast or very slow - patience is key in this whole process! Good luck and welcome!
I JUST got the e-mail about confirming my phone interview! It's November 2nd, so 8 days away. I have spent the last half hour jumping around my house because of this.
Well thanks for the support everyone! And good luck to those who have a phone interview! I'm hoping to hear soon!
