Canada phone interviews

i feel like that all the time brad at least i am not the only one who knows that feeling who knows we may meet each other down there

 

I called cast-a-way at the beginning of the week and Eric told me that they would be contacting applicants in Feb or march (very ambiguous I know) so that 4-6 weeks sounds about right! I am also glad that there are people here who are playing the waiting game as well (though I have only been waiting for a short time!)

 

Yeah last year I was one of the early ones and I got my phone interview about 5 weeks before the interviews (in early march)... 4-6 weeks is a little long I apologise... 2-5 is more accurate.

 

What are the changes of actally getting a job ???

Yeah and with the exception of John (leaving like 3 weeks after!) I was the first one in Florida. 3 firsts lol.

What part of Canada is everyone from? I'm in Ajax, its a little town in Southern Ontario, right on the shore of Lake Ontario. Where are you guys from?

 

I've heard of Ajax, Home of SUm 41. I'm from REd Deer Alberta.

 

haha... the fact that Ajax's claim to fame is Sum 41 blows my mind.... LOL.... sorry to Sum fans, I'm not picking fights! (I actually have both albums)

Anyways... right now I'm in Kingston cause I'm finishing school.... but I will be moving home until I decide what I'm doing next. Where is home you ask.... Trenton, but let's go with Bellevillle for those of you who have blinked and missed it!!!! hehehe

 

Hey I know where trenton is, thats near Brighton right? I think my relatives make up about 50% of Brightons population, nice area though. Whats the weather like in Red Deer right now Jorden?

I'm in Sydney NS and me too! One of the kids I teach swimming lessons to just got back and he was telling me all about going to alaska at Epcot. ??? It made me really want to be in Florida though

 

Weathers great in Red Deer right now... I mean it's cold but it could be a lot worse... it was actually relativly sunny today!

Oh and I think Sum 41 has like 4 or 5 albums, and about being Ajax's claim to fame, at least I've heard of the place out here .

 

Im from Winnipeg, Manitoba....but currently in San Diego on vacation hahaha.... its so much nicer here in the plus 16-21 degree weather than back home in the -35 degree weather

 

San diego eh? Lucky! I will be happy if we can just go a day or two with out hearing about a winchill warning.

I actually have some family who live there too and went to school with a lot of ppl from there.... Now I'm curious which 50% your fam represents.... but i know that's too personal for over the internet... lol.....

Anyways.... I guess it's true.... it is a small world after all! haha.... i had to do it... it was right there! LOL

 

Hey if you can work that phrase into your interview at some point Im sure that would get you bonus points haha! Have you ever gone to Brighton's Applefest they have in the fall, thats always a fun time :. The best part is that giant apple they have along the 401, how cool is that? Is bellville the town that has the big reid's dairy castle thing? Or am I thinking os someplace else?

Yeah I've been the Applefest a few times.... and the big apple.... mainly in grade school tho....

Yes, Belleville has the Reid's Castle... I've even been up to the top of it once... hehe.... again when i was like 6.... lol...

And then my hometown is smack dab in the middle... without the army base and Wal-Mart we'd be nothing!!! Honestly !!! lol
