Who knows? helveticarock, I'm thinking having an open availability would be a bonus, but I'm worried that it means they might give one of the less-than-ideal start dates :S and trust me, it's been hard to deal out here! haha.. I talk to pretty much anyone I can about my interview, in detail, multiple times.. my roommates are probably more excited to finally hear than I am, so I will stop talking about it! lol
from what i gathered, they'll ship people out between july and october, and the first shipping date (that sounds really weird, but i'm not sure how else to word it) is the 13th i believe. i just want to find out already. i go between periods of talking like i've already been accepted and am planning life in florida (like today i was telling one of my friends how i wish i was bringing my car down so i could get a florida id), and times when i'm like I'M SO NOT EVEN GOING TO MAKE IT!!! all this leading on and waiting out, it's insane!!
I don't think anyone from the CRP has heard, but I'm in the yummy jobs facebook group, and the ICP people are already finding out. and I hear you about going between the already there and I-not-going-at all moods..half the time I'm looking at flights and half the time I have myself convinced that everyone else at my interview was fantastic and there is no way that they are even considering me! GAHH
i am trying really hard to not look at flights... or at least not anymore, i think i pretty much have the prices memorized from southwest from checking it out constantly!!
ah! i cant even think about flights... everytime i get a little confident that ill get it- i completely freak out and convince myself otherwise....
AH!! The wait is so nerve-racking. I was at the Toronto interviews and even though I thought it went okay- I still think of every little thing I did wrong! There probably weren't THAT many at the Halifax interviews. I heard about 100 get selected, so if there was 30 in Montreal, 40 in Toronto, 30 in Vancouver and maybe.... 20 in Halifax, then that would be like 120, so hopefully the odds are on our sides Good Luck everyone!!!!
hahah thats so funny - i keep adding up the numbers too but when they said that they took 100 a year... i get confused , because each year they have 2 recruiting sessions - every 6 months or so when i was at my interview kristen was saying that she does about 500 - 600 phone interviews each 6 month period so im not sure if that means that they take 100 each 6 months... or 100 from both sessions
It was around 20 people at the Halifax interviews so that math definitely works.. and I agree with thinking it's 100 each 6 months, because otherwise I'm not sure I can deal! haha
This wait is almost impossible to handle. Ack! What positions did you guys go for? I marked Attractions first than Merch/F&B as a tie. They were really pushing for F&B in Montreal...saying most of the positions are there and that there are barely any spots in the other categories. I would be happy to get any of them, I hope my choice order doesn't hurt my chances.
I marked Merch, Attractions then F&B.. but I only marked them because I had to, and I told them that doing my interview so hopefully that helps..
i marked merch as nmber one, and then after my interview with jeff i actually switched it to food and bev... i think we should make a pool of when we'll start hearing
i did f&b as number one because it's what i have most experience with, though i have experience with the other two, but told javier that if i could make them all #1 i would. I DON'T CARE, JUST GIVE ME A JOB!!
I'm going to guess that if we don't start hearing Friday, then it will be sometime next week.. and for everybody having Disney dreams, I had a bad one last night! I dreamed that I had written swear words in my resume (who knows why? lol) and I actually got up this morning and looked at the copy that I gave them just to make sure.. Just another thing to show how crazy the wait is making me! haha
hahah that's hilarious. That would be kind of amazing if you actually had swear words in your resume...but it's a good thing that you don't.

Hey guys, I was at the Vancouver interviews. It's only been five days and I'm going crazy, glad we're all in the same boat together I went for F&B
Hey guys I was at the Vancouver interviews as will, and even though they said we won't know for two weeks I keep checking my Email and phone every 10 min. Next week i know is going to be worse and my work is introduce new tills next week which I still don't know how to use so it is going to be tough trying to keep my mind on how to use the tills rather then "I wonder if they emailed or called yet". I put down attractions first then merch and last was f&b. I told them I could only start on sept. 8, because my brother is getting married sept 4th and I'm in the bridal party. When did everyone else say they could start? Hope we find out soon for I am going crazy waiting.
I put I could start anytime, I just can't wait to get to Florida if I got in. I put Merch 1st, F&B 2nd and Attractions 3rd- because most of the positions are in F&B but I'm hoping for merch! So guys, it's FRIDAY!!! meaning last day of this week they could contact us, I'm pretty sure next week we're all going to be all twitchy and crazy just almost obsessing over them contacting us!! But rest assured it's TOTALLY normal!! I'm on the fence of twitching right now lol I'm just SOOO excited/nervous ??? :-\
