Canada face 2 face early 2009!

Canadian F&B rocks, though I hear the attractions people and Merchies have fun too. But their is so much more F&B people. I have been here just about 2 months and I cant believe time is slipping so fast from me. Good luck to everyone going to the interviews. I am sure you guys will too. The interviews are fun, so go and enjoy them. The more relaxed you are the better. They understand you being nervous but don't be like I was and give yourself a horrible headache by the time your one on one time is.

Anyway hope you guys had a great time, and do wonderfully at the interviews. So weird to think it is almost a year ago I was applying.

Hey, I'm starting March 24th in F&B @ the Canadian Pavil, if you get accepted for it you will start on a food cart.. Like popcorn, pop, etc.. and also have shifts in the restaurant as a greeter I believe. You have to be noticed at being good with guests and show interest of moving into the restaurant before you get to be a server, and I think it's usually 2-3 months before you can move in. Just put that little extra into being polite, friendly and present with your guests in the restaurants and I'm sure you'll move inside. You don't need to have serving experience, they will train you for it all, their training regiment is quite good i'm told, as with all of Disney.. Customer interaction is #1, so just be yourself!

Goodluck with the face 2 face, I know I was nervous but remember.. in the end, you're just talking to people.. you do it everyday, answering questions people have, etc. Best of luck to all the Fall 09 hopefuls!

 

god i love canadians. hey sorry to invade ur discussions, but i worked in the uk pavilion in 07, and christ all my mates were canadian. u guys are amazing, i actually cant think of one canadian who i didnt like.

Does anyone know if we can start the CRP anytime??? If we're doing the interview in march (i guess), can we start at the end of summer??? Is there like specific months for those who's doing the interview on early 2009? Thanks!

 

You fill in the dates that you would like to start on the application form. The majority of the spots for our fall interviews were for starting February 2009 and on. However some people said they could go as soon as possible and one guy went with the December 2nd group from the spring interviews before (i think someone dropped out).
So if you can't start until the end of summer you can put that down and they will look at it when they accept you. I think some people put that they coudln't start until after school ended this last go around and so that's when they start.

Officialy the interview will be held in the first 2 weeks of March!!!!!! 1 month left till then!

 

so pumped that we have an estimated date!!!!!!!

and its right around my birthday!
