Canada face 2 face early 2009!

As long as you show them your personality and that you can have a conversation in english, you should be ok. They are probably used to interviewing people from all over the world who have worse english than you. Just remember that they are watching you all the time so don't sit off on your own while waiting.

 

I've just receive a mail from Kristen and we'll get information for the f2f intervies in the fisrt 2 weeks of january due to Holidays. I'll be able to do my exam session with the stress of this info cause it's always in my mine, where and when???? Good Holidays to all!

 

ya i got that email today as well...

i thought it was going to tell me where and when, but any communication is nice. it's good to know that we have not been forgotten about.

I've been accepted for a face to face interview as well! early 2009. I am 18 and I live in Ontario. Anyone else?

 

yeah im 18 and from ontario as well. I was notified a few weeks ago that I had been invited to the f2f interviews. I am scared to find out where they are, hopefully somewhere close. All in all it's not that big of a deal, i'll go anywhere for them. I am pretty excited = )

 

Where abouts in ontario? Im close to barrie. If the interviews are in Vancouver or western canada let me know and we could carpool or fly together? lmao Just to take the edge off the interview

 

hey lol, i'm from Windsor, and yeah if they are in Vancouver I'm not driving, I am deffenitly flying

 

same here deneau...I'm further i'm fromquebec...it's more than 30 hours drive...and the flying ticket is like 400$ so no point i'm driving...

yeah the interviews are going to be in Vancouver and I think one other city in the west. I'm thinking it might be Calgary or Edmonton. Anyway I can't wait either!!! I hope we all make it!!

Have you guys heard the date yet? When I was accepted to a f2f in the end of august it didn't take place until the end of october. They really seem to enjoy dragging out the process and making you wait for every step of it! But the feeling when you get the phone call that you've been accepted and are going to Florida is the most incredible thing and worth every second of waiting and nerves! Good Luck everyone

Oh and with the waiting after your accepted thing, there was a girl Nykki from the last spring interviews who got accepted right away and her departure date wasn't until december 2nd!! Now that's a long wait! (But now she's there are lovees it!)

 

hey kate! No we didn't get the dates yet...but we're suppose to get those real soon, Kristen tolds us last monday that is will be in the next 2 weeks...it's already been 9 days since then...I know since november that i was accepted for the f2f....so waiting is killing me now... But I guess the waiting for when your accpeted and your departure's date seems so longer than ours...

Hey! i actually thought i totally blew my face to face. Being interviewed with another person totally threw me off and our answers were so different.
Just smile big, talk to other people at your interviews and be yourself. i hated when ppl said that before my interview because i just wanted them to tell me all their answers and what the questions were, but it's really true. I think that even though my answers weren't necessarily the best to some of the questions, the fact that i was so excited and bubbly and loved disney and that sort of thing really helped.

the hardest wait is the 2 weeks between the f2f and finding out if you're in.

I havent been on these boards forever, i had kinda decided not to apply this year-- i was in entertainment on the icp last summer and loved it. But today i applied. I know last year there were interviews in toronto in february, i'm kinda hoping they'll be there again this year at around the same time.Did everyone on here already have phone interviews, or do they not do those now that canada is with yummy jobs instead of cast-a-way?

What role is everyone hoping for? I def want to be a character again

 

het steffie! There will be anb interview in Toronto but we don't know yet when... We suppose to know by the end of next week. I'm doing the CRP so I can only work at Canada's pavillion so i'll try the food and bevrage!
