Basically..They have to be LEATHER and cover your whole foot..

So thats a good criteria for you to work on, haha..

now if they have to be leather thats not fair!

what about people who do not wear leather because of the animal cruelty aspects. I was hoping to wear my ballet shoe crocs for traditions. they do meet the requirements so why couldn't i wear them?

they're not open toe, they're black, they're a full shoe with a back and not sling backs

so are females allowed to wear black leather trainers then? i have some black shoes for traditions im sure they will be acceptable as they are non heeled pumps which are accepted in work for business meetings - i wouldnt mind wearing them to work either they are so comfy but i have a feeling i wont be able to

i was planning on taking my platform work shoes from here but the thing posted said no platforms. do the shoes have to be flats? I'm used to walking in a slight heel, I'm too short to stand next to people without them! I thought heels would be more business like anyway??

This is one thing I think disney might be a bit too strict on. I don't want to have to buy new shoes... my trousers are too long to wear flats too!

You have to wear black shoes? Because my suit is brown. That would look so gay.xx

Ok now my little comment: for work you can wear trainers...well defintely if you work in f&b.
For traditions I wore beige shoes and they had a heel. You're definitely allowed to wear hells...even though I wouldn't recommend to wear them at work.
And I remember that a girl wore sandals at my traditions. I guess it depends on the teacher...One of my roommates for example wasn't allowed to go to tradtions because her hair didn't looked national enough ( she had to dye it again). I had purple highlights and didn't had a proplem at all...

I wore black faux-leather ballet pumps to all my business wear days and they were fine. They have them for £4 at Primark!

Yeah..i don't think there to strict on it..I mean i wore adidas trainers and they were massive..The sole on them was over half an inch high atleast! So i don't see why high heels would be a problem!

Uve just gotta read the guidelines carefully and as long as you don't break any of them, then ull be fine..

Can i switch off the shoe talk for a second...for the guys, will a suit be required at any time when we are over there? I wasnt wanting to buy one, liked the sound of the shirt and tie, so will we def not need a suit ;D
I'm also glad about black trainers at work, means i can get a nice pair of comfy trainers ;D

    Thanks

No offense, but why would you want to? :p (Sorry, I just have a vendetta against crocs...)

Primark trip it is then, such a hardship...

As long as the shoes you have for traditions are dress shoes, your alright. Well as long as they don't have an open toe or heel I think. Nice ballet flats or pumps work fine.

For work, almost all positions require you wear black runners that don't have other markings on them. On the form I got from my work location it says "solid black athletic sneakers". It's pretty much the same everywhere else.

it says you need to tuck shirts in. For girls, what about fitted shirts? All mine are like that, surely they'd be fine as they are?

The breakdown is really strict, surely so long as you look smart and business-like they won't come down too hard on you?

Too be honest, things like tucking your shirt in..Just walk in with it untucked and if they say anything ull have to tuck it in..If not then you'll be fine..

Its like someone said, it just depends what teacher you get...

One girl who did traditions with us got sent home because her skirt wasn't acceptable..She quit because of it tho and went back to england the next day for some reason!! ???

That was a bit of an over reaction!

Maybe it was a very special skirt..?

Though it still seems like a bit of an odd reaction!

Some people just don't like being compromised I guess. I'm going to HATE getting rid of my stubble. I look like a corpse without it.
