jason walked passed at asked how long you'd been in and i said 7 minutes, and he said 'thats a bit precise! i just knew it was more than 5 and less than 10! i think though you were in there for 15 mins. actually you were for sure! you seemed really nervous before going in as well!

right ok...now that was better than what I thought. I was thinking 5 minutes! lol. I wasn't nervous bout answering the questions of the interview, I was nervous mainly about that I felt ill. I had the shakes...and don't even ask why I am just dumb. lol There was a toilet opposite the waiting area and I was in there drinking water when the lad before me went in.

What a disaster, lol

Well now I think I won't get in after that performance, I am sort of more calm, I've taken the view I can apply again, which I think I will do. Just this time I'll know whats coming and what not to do the night before.

 

im the same (not about the night b4) lol but yeah knowing we can reapply str8 away is comforting!!!! i think i will be alredy wrote my new cover letter! jeez i think ive doubled my posts in the last 30 minutes!!

 

Well I came down with my mate, and we went for a meal with one of his old uni mates from Essex. Then we went out for a drink which took us to about half 10 to 11, which would have been ok. But then I convinced myself which I do quiet often when I've had a little bit to drink that everything will be ok to drink on, and I did till bout 2am, followed by drinks in the hotel. It's quiet possibly the most stupid thing I have ever done. Woke up about 7am, realised I hadn't filled in that application, filled it in. Managed to leave the hotel for 8am.

Then the tube line I needed broke down, so I needed to run for my life for another more confusing line. I was stressed then that I'd catch the wrong train and be late. I didn't have time for breakfast which would have made everything ok. Then the video made me even worse cause the camera was flying all over the place. By then my eyes had gone bloodshot after I checked in the toilet.

I felt guilty for being so stupid!

 

oh no! that sounds like more than a stress time to me! - shows though that you're willing to go against the odds to do something!

bloody london tubes....they're so annoying and break down when you need them most

 

Well it was my own fault, I was enjoying the Sunday too much with England losing in the Rugby and Liverpool getting beat, it all seemed too perfect! hehe

Definately not for me. It was and still is just embaressing, better hope they don't remember my name and not allow me to get into the next face to face!

What school did you go to? I went to Blessed teds then Emrys for 6th form.
Can't believe someone else from my home town is applying!! Good luck anyway!!

And just to let everyone know I was on the Tuesday interview, long(ish), well longer than any other bloke, blonde hair. Was chatting to Jason and Mindy about the Welsh flag and leeks!

 

Hey Gemma, I know u know me. I'm Rob, Ben Taylor's mate....the one who goes to Liverpool Uni. Both of us went to Emrys.

I never actually lived in Newport. I was just born there for some reason. I lived in Cardiff though till I was about 5. Still visit often cause most of my family live there.

My interview was on Monday.

 

I used to live in Flintshire (N.Wales) lol

I'm flying out 6th June but only there for the college program so not there for the year, so flying back 16th Sept.
