You can't hit people on plains! lol (I'd have been arrested!)
The on board police person was going to arrest her and send her back to England, and she would have been banned from entering the US, but she was only 15 and apparently having troubles at home so they gave her a warning which will be on her record for the next 18 months, and I got a £3000 seat for a bit of inconvenience so I was happy! lol

I haven't even had a chance to start looking for flights yet. I'm a little apprehensive about booking with Virgin as we flew direct to Florida with them last year and an 8/9 hour flight turned into a 12 hour one! We ended up stopping in Jacksonville for an hour for some reason and circled Orlando airport for ages. Eek!

Hmph... BA seems to want to charge £640 for an indirect flight. I don't think so. I guess Virgin it is. I might write to Richard Branson and demand he sort out this delay thing!

£640?? Is it first class or something?? Lol. I'd definitely want a direct flight, I'd be too scared all my clothes would get lost somewhere along the way.

Even though iv been on the delayed virgin flight so many times, i am probably booking the same flight again this year anyway. Even if i'm delayed in england, its 5 hours i would be using up traveling indirect.

Having said that 2 of my friends flew on the virgin to orlando flight (on seperate dates) to start their program and the flight was delayed over 24 hours for both of them... so they missed the 1st day of talks and stuff and it had to be fitted in later :-\ :-[

I definitely think that's the right way to go for sure!
I'm sure they keep an eye out on flight status' and everything as well, so if your plane does get delayed, they'll know...
And if you don't get there on time, don't fret about it, it'll just mean that your first day will be even more overwhelming and you'll love Disney that much more! :)

Ooohhhh.... that's kinda worrying with the 24 hour delay things!! Maybe it's better to get there the day before and crash in a hotel for the night?

i think thats a really good idea, but what wud happen the next day wen we need 2 get picked up? wud they mind gettin us from a hotel instead of the airport?x

they won't pick you up from the hotel, only from the airport. If you arrive early and decide to stay in a hotel, then you will have to pay for a taxi or a shuttle to the hotel, and then from the hotel back to the airport to be picked up, or to the apartment complexes.

I think you only book a one way flight out... then you book your return a few weeks/months before you leave when you know that's going to be.

Anyone no how much earlier you can fly out?

I know my end date Nov 27th. Surely your visa runs out and you cant travel?

Citywalk - Our visa's will allow us to travel for up to 30 days after our finish date. So if your last working day is the 27th November, you can travel for 30 days after that before you have to leave the country! Hope that helps! :)
