Its cool this is my third time living abroad... im used to it... Last time i shipped one box home - was really reasonable too. Then i had two cases checked in and one carry on... Old clothes i gave to charity... and anything else electrical goods etc my friends did very well out of me from!

Its all good... the only question is where to leave bags when we go travelling and whether we'll be flying back from florida... Last time i left a bag with my international office - cos there was no way i wanted to drag two suitcases across america!

I'm sure you'll have plenty of friends in the commons who you can beg to look after a bag for you for a month!! I'll do it assuming I have room!

No probs . BTW- I'm fairly sure you don't have to fly back from FL- Disney give you the money, but you can book your own flight from wherever in the States you want!

I know!!! How fast time flies! If it keeps going this fast, you'll be in Florida before you blink!! I hear the weather perked up as soon as I left!!! It was HORRIBLE here the day I got back (after a very delayed and annoying flight!!!)...but it's getting nicer by the day...ok, I lied...the weatherman has snow on his screen for tomorrow!!! It's SPRING PEOPLE!!! Anyways, I have worn my Next jacket three times already and I'm very much enjoying it! Thank you for having no conscience either and making me buy it! It could be trouble if I make it down south!!!!

Housing usually expects you to clear out all your stuff once your contract is over. It makes sense, too, since a new person will be moving in with lots of luggage. Nevertheless you will most likely be able to leave your stuff with one of your roomies for a few weeks. They usually don't mind at all. I remember my mexican roomie left her stuff for like 6 months in our living room until a friend came and picked it up for her LOL.

Shan - nobody bought bikinis today - success! I like both UK ones and Us ones - love my A and F one from last year... but i like the british ones too as last season where i was living in the states all the bikinis seemed to be halterneck.

Bought quite a few accesories, sun tops though today and a skirt - Lindseys bad influence of course!

They had nice gypsey skirts there - but unfortunately the ones i liked had sold out in my size... think Lindsey might have got one and Carols maybe getting one when she gets paid...
