    I just find it hilarious....plonker is just such a crazy word lol.

    I have a couple of Australian friends too and some of their vocab is strange. Even stranger than some of your words. :)

    sara likes to say "proper funny" . we dont sy that in scotland. i think its so funny!

    im no a big fan of m muffins or cakes, so luckily i wont eat them all! can you imagine if i did...it would be heaven, cookies cakes muffins and ben and jerrys!

    i'd think i'd died and gone 2 heaven. lol linz, yeah i say 'proper' in front of a lot of things, i spose a other word for it would be totally?

    i always say it its sucha bad habit.

    i say beaut a lot as well lol, another word for great. duno if theres anymore but i will post as i realise what im sayin lol

    Theres so many words we say that are different tho im kindof blank!

    Some of the people i worked with last summer said `grand' all the time and ut `as' on the end of phrases like cool as, easy as.

    My bro works in NW england and there they say `gaffer' instead of mate - i find that one bizarre.

    Scottish words can sometimes be hard to understand - even for a Scot!!

    Infact this example is probably more Glaswegien!

    "awrite mate hows it gon, u wanna cum tae ma bit aftur yer wurk fur a wee dram?!"

    People from the north sorry Lindsey!! :p ) and especially north east use the word "ken" (no not Barbies man!) as in "a dinnae ken" which means I dont know!!

    I seem to be using the word "screwed" a lot at the moment as well!! Oh help!

    I like the fact that Americans call taps fosets!! How cool a word is that?!!

    sweets, buscits, em not sure what else. we say neds for the kids that wear all the sports clothes and gold bling jewelary! lol! but i know its a glasgow thing!

    and talking of neds Linz how about Chavs!

    Dunno how to define a chav - its kidof like a townie/yuppie type thing... Sara/Linz help me out!

    i dont think ive heard of chavs, is that not the same as neds!? theres a prog on sky1 next week about them though. have to watch it and swat up!lol

    oh yeah chavs. martin used 2 call EVERYONE a chav when i first met him like 2 years ago, and i was like what is that? and then when it got added 2 the dictionary last year, couldn't blieve it! i thought he just made it up!
