You guys and your muffins.... I can probably only think of 6 different types that i know of that i can get here. But toffee muffins...mmmmmmm.

And back to your vocab...Lindsey, what other words do you use that aren't said anywhere else? I can't think of any here in Canada. Our english is just so boring. I guess the most stereotypical one is that we say 'eh' a lot. That isn't really true. I think all the hillbillies and hicks use that....

 

I'm laughing very hard right now. Don't worry about what you look like on the plane!!! Just be comfy! I wore PJ's to partys all year long! You have to live with everyone for a year, they are gonna see you not looking all prettied up.

Ahhh, Beast. One of my friends went to the states on a trip and ACTUALLY brought some home. We made fun of her. My friends down there discovered Natural Ice. Much stronger than Beast...more like Canadian beer...Natty Ice nights were usually messy. My boyfriend discovered Icehouse on our cruise and said it wasn't bad either...compared to Beast anything isn't bad I guess. I'm not a beer drinker and anyone that knew me can tell you that I drank Peach Schnapps and Iced Tea in a litre jug all year long. Drank a lot of After Shock on my last few PI nights...horrible stuff but does the job!!!!

robyn - i think there are quite a few british words that other nationalities don't use, mainly cos we all sit there and make up our own words. i was gona put a list up but i can't think of ways to describe the words in other terms lol

robyn, at my work we have:
blueberry, apple and cinnamon, sultana and mixed spice, choc chip, tripple cho,choc orange,bannana toffee, toffee apple(in oct), cherry....un think thats it. oh white chocolate sometimes!

anyway some things we say i even find stupid, we say eh and like a lot too! my sister cant say more than 2 words without puting like in there somewhere!

we have many words for idiot 'spoon' & 'tube' being used quite often for some reason up here!

um cant think of any more really but im sure i will!
