Its what we in the UK would call a single - I think in the US they may call it a twin. Don't know the exact dimensions are, my UK single sized sheets were slightly too large for the matress.

Louisa told me they dont sell Duvets or quit covers at Wallmart
what are you guys going out soon gonna do?
    Will the oulets sell them?

  3. You can get the really small duvets here and vacuum pack them. I just bought a thick comforter out there that did me fine but then again, not everyone likes the comforters.

Americans in general don't use duvets and covers (??) so I've seen, just posh sheets and thick throws (comforter), i suppose its easier to just have to wash a sheet rather than a duvet cover. I bought a kids set - think it was one of those bed-in-a-bag jobbies, just cheaper coz it was kids (and a rather exciting pink/purple colour to boot)! I was sheets (actually more than i used), pillow cases, comforter...i think that was it. So i just bought a pillow extra (like $4!) - all from WalMart. Just get a taxi there the first night with a load of others - everyone's in the same boat unless you're super organised and vaccuum pack everything and bring it!

  8. bought it from wallmart .. cost around $30 for that and a pillow case you could get separate bed sheets but i didn't bother as i had brought some over with me. They're very cute!

Is it just the pillow cases and bed sheets we need or do we need the pillows too?

I'm just going to buy a cheap set here that i don't mind leaving behind when i come home

  17. You need to bring everything. You only get a mattress. I bought everything there. It was a lot easier than lugging it all the way to Florida.

    Jess...go to walmart :p lol.

I brought a duvet with me (it vacuumed up so small!) and its really nice to have a proper duvet rather than a comforter. I forgot the duvet cover though so that's a bit annoying.

My pillows I got here and the sheets were the ones I bought on my last program so I brought them back again because they're the right size for the beds.

Are the beds the longer and skinny ones? The ones found in colleges and universities. Not a standard twin.
