bands/live performances in orlando area

I am a proficient drummer on medium difficulty of Rock Band...real life however, I stick to appreciating those who don't suck!

since i was about 12 i think...believe it was 8 years this september. unfortunately my development has slowed down a fair bit now

I totally admire Joey's insane drumming but I have never ever been coordinated enough to play drums. At my old house we had a studio in the basement so I've tried a million times but just fail miserably lol We don't have a proper studio set up anymore but the drums are set up in the corner. My brother who's starting at WDW in March plays, he's nowhere near Joey but he can usually keep a beat.
And for the record, my lousiness on drums is present in the world Rock Band drumming as well. 'Easy' difficulty for me. Only. My mind can't handle moving my hands and feet rhythmically lol

I own a guitar too, and it's very pretty to look at. That's the most I do with it lol I always said I needed to find a boyfriend who could teach me lol

 

I can only do easy mode on rockband too, i tried medium the other day but that was really pushing it!

I have never been able to play guitar, i've always tried to learn but i can't even seem tol hold the damn thing properly, really un co-ordinated.

 

i'm really uncoordinated but somehow managed to play both drums and guitar.
though not at the same time.
i'm not that coordinated.

 

Today I have decided to make the move on up to hard on drums! Medium on guitar is something I will never get better than & I don't do vocals...it's just not fair on the rest of the world.

 

I've made the move up to Hard on guitar but I'm still not used completely used to it lol sometimes my fingers get lost.
My brother asked Roger if he could bring his xbox lol so he'll be the cool kid.

i've played it once. i didn't like the drums, they were tidy but didn't allow for any variation which for me is part of the fun of drumming!

 

I really really cannot sing! its just highly amusing to have a bad singing session of rockband.

I only really know a few songs off the newest album, but they did a fantastic job

Children of Bodom and Machine head were the supports, they were really good too!

 

Ah, Machine Head...the first proper metal band I ever went to see back in '93 or '94, something like that. I have a special place in my heart for Burn My Eyes! They're also supporting Metallica on their UK tour next year but I will already be in O-Town by the time they roll into Nottingham.

I hadn't realized that was the tour that was going on/you went to. I would die. Seriously. Slipknot AND Children of Bodom? That's like insane in my mind. Okay now you have to tell me - how awesome was Alexi? What a freaking amazingly talented sexy m-f'er.
