I seriously like something from every genre..not just metal.

even all those silly genres with Core on the end that matt likes!

I am nowhere near cool enough to understand the differences between the many sub-genres of what I generally refer to as rock! If it's good, I like it!

haha i don't understand it most of the time either stu...and so many things cross over...some people get really serious about it sometimes though, it's pretty funny!

I know dude, some of the kids I work with get well annoyed if I get my emo/screamo/scene/whatever else they call it mixed up!

i just can't be bothered to put things into silly little sub-genres.

Me too, mixed with Metallica and Nirvana... I don't listen to much (or any really...) of that nowadays but I just love concerts in general. It doesn't really matter what sub-genre (of rock) it is, as long as the band puts an effort into it, and it's fun... I've gone to shows with friends without knowing the bands and in some cases, that one night has turned me into a fan. Like In Flames, they played with COB and I was like, "where has In Flames been all my life??!" lmao Now they're one of my faves.

I used to have last.fm, I think I deleted my account though :-\

Jess - thumbs up for Silverchair!

Matt - I love how its like NFG, TBS, etc... then HSM ;D
Although I can't really poke fun at that, if you looked through my ipod you'd see some Miley Cyrus mixed in with the heavier things.
