Hello Guys and Girls! Guess What! There has been a problem with my visa application and my start date may be affected. My visa appointment is on the 17th June, which means my passport and visa can take up to 7 days to return to me, which is the 24th June! I will definitely be organised and ready to go for the 24th June so if my visa and passport get to me on Monday the 23rd, ill still be flying the next day...........hopefully! Ok so as excited as I am for Cheryl, you to hug me on arrival, and then have us both hug Ashley when she arrives (lol..even though we have all never met.. this is adorable), I am pretty sure that when you go to get luggage, you cannot go back into the area where people arrive. Not 100% sure though... anyone else know????
I know on arrival the airport is split into Terminal A and B, but the actual baggage claim, and arrival gate may be very different... hmmm.... any current CRPs know??? and if anyone does... WHERE SHOULD WE MEET if it is do-able?
~ but if this is conflicting, then no fret, Cheryl and Ashley we all can just meet up at the Vista complex or what not.. alright night ladies.. hopefully we'll be able to make the 'arriving together' work out...
AND...ASHLEY...you better have that Visa in time my dear... Scotland & Canada must unite on the 24th!

 

I have been using the Magical Express the last few years that I have come to Florida so I don't go to baggage claim at all but I have a few ideas for you - there's a food court where you could sit and wait and meet each other - also there's a Disney Store in the Airport where you could be at a certain time . If those aren't do-able then you could have a Plan B and meet down on the level where you catch the transport bus its in the same spot as the Magical Express - I'm sure they would allow you to wait for each other there and then travel together.

Just wanted to send a message to say hi! Haven't posted anything in a long time. I will be actually flying down on the 23rd and staying in a hotel there. What time are you guys heading to the Housing? I kind of would like to show up with people and not alone Is anyone bringing a cell with them?

 

Hello! Guys! Well hopefully I will have my visa sorted out by then, my flight will get me into the airport at 15.20pm which is about 1 hour after you guys! So would love if you wait lol Pleaseeeeeee hehehehehe! Yeah in the arrivals terminal, it has a big open space where there is a food court and a disney store! we can meet outside the Disney Store! I'll have a pink suitcase and a multi-coloured bag......you'll love it!

 

hey so just to answer the question about the airports everyon goes to the same baggage claim and you can wait there for ppl, or as mom-eh said theres a food court or below on the ground floor where you sign in for mears there are chairs and tables set up and you can get wireless too while you wait.

 

Are you guys booking transportation from the airport to vista in advance?

As for my fellow June 24 ers:
1) Ashley.. get that Visa in time my love! ..lol.. Scot & Can need to unite!
2) Colin, if you want us to come with you, then we could meet at the airport, Disney Store by the arrival gate. My flight comes in at 2pm, pending no delays, and Cheryl is before me.
3) Cheryl.. hi you!..don't book Mears in advance, their shuttle goes on the hour basically, and if we book in advance and one of us gets delayed we'll be stuck... so don't worry about that till we get there and use our coupons (which comes with your package).
4) WE LEAVE IN 12 DAYS!!! can you believe it is finally a less than 2 week wait now?! so awesome!
5) did I mention how excited I am to finally meet you guys and gals!

This afternoon I went into my Inbox and I got 2 e-mails from Mickey Mouse lol Did u guys? How exciting? It read "the time has come and you're almost here" lol I screamed! Cannot wait any longer!

I spoke to Kristen today! well she left me a message to say that even though my visa appointment isn't until Tuesday! My visa will be with me by like Friday - or Monday at the latest! Disney Store it is lol!

 

I got the same exciting mails..

Hello Guys! Just to let you know that I'm back from London, my visa was approved and it will take 3-5 working days to return to me! which means it should be here by Friday! yasssssss! 6 MORE SLEEPS TO GO! XXXXXX

I found my visa at home a few minutes ago when I came back from Croatia. IM SO HAPPY!!!!!

 

My visa will be here tomorrow afternoon so that's good! One problem though, the flight that I was planning to get has increased £300 and no-way I can get this now! So Im going on Monday the 23rd and staying in a hotel! So Where is colin staying and I can meet him? I'll look out for Jen and Cheryl when i get there on the tuesday at Vista Way!

What time do you guys get into Orlando Airport? Ashley xx
