leaving on the 4th sound amazing! a few days to get organised (and pissed! ) before we start! sounds good to me! sorry i am uber slow with my replies my boyfriend and i just moved into a new flat and have no internet! Uggggggghhhh! killllerrrrrr! are the disney hotels crazy expensive for a couple of nights???

 

This is like awesome. Im arriving the 3th of December, also staying at the Best Western, Jamacian Court with Sabrina and Taz etc...

So looking forward to arriving America! first time ever... and Im spending the first night alone wow. this can be soo interesting...

got my acceptance letter and disney congratualtions pack and sent off criminal background... gonna book flights soon with STA and get combined medical and travel insurance! think im gonna go ahead and book to fly out on the 4th with you sabrina and the others it will defiantely help me settle into orlando quicker and climatise! who all is flying out from gatwick on that date?
im confused abt visa things... do i not apply and call the phone number until i get my I 797 visa petition? what does it look like? i dont think i have it all. i leave in 2 months and worried abt not getting my visa on time! and i need to take one of those digital photos to the embassy in belfast so i cant take it at the one everyone else is talking about near the london american embassy. hope yous can help me out asap!!!

Heya hun!!

Yeh come on the 4th! Me and Sabrina are booked on the 11:20am from Gatwick, and I think Ben is going to try book onto it aswell this week!! Nate and Jenny are flying on the same day from Manchester, and Alex is getting there on the 3rd so me and Sabrina are going to meet him at the hotel!!

With the visa, as soon as your CRB has got back to YJ they will contact WDW who will then send over your visa petition, once they receive it they send you the paper work and as soon as you get it in the post you need to ring for your embassy appointment!! It's just a form with teeny tiny writing on it, which lists everyone who is going to disney on that date, who will be going to the same consular as yourself!!

Don't worry about timing, we have got ours now but Hannah said that is unbelievably quick for visa appointments!! I don't know if you ever spoke to tink84 (Lucie) on here? But she got 6 weeks notice for her date and she was fine so they can get them done fast!!

Also for Belfast, I think I remember seeing that you will deffo need a photo, but not too sure where to go, I believe there is a link on the embassy's page that will tell you where nearby you can go!!!

yea i guess im coming on the 4th... waiting to discuss with my dad as he phoned STA while i was in work. the best western looks good too and theres room for me! il prob have to go the night before and stay in gatwick so i dont miss the flight on 4th! where are u staying sabrina? ???

contacted hannah at yummy and theyve received and sent on my form today so hopefully before the end of october il be organising my embassy appt in belfast! yay! ;D have to see where i can get a digital photo aswell for them. does that mean u have it printed out, or do u send it online to them? or both?! lol im not sure if there are any other ones from N.Ireland that are flying same date as me or heading out anymore, most of them are already in disney i think! :

yea i met lucie tink84 at my interview and we were close chatting back and forth, texting and crossing fingers for each other! i was so glad to hear she got through... im not sure if she knows i did tho, as she left before i found out! maybe it will be a good surprise for her when she sees me! hehe

so scary how soon we head out! i have so much to do in the next 2 months, i hvnt even started packing yet! but i have got a new big suitcase, a wheely one hehe

im not sure what to do about :-
- getting a phone set up and if i should get sim card from yummy or getting something sorted out there, as iv read that theyre phone networks are v.different! and the phones are different too?
- how much money minimum will i need? i cant believe that $300 is not enough, i thot things out there were cheap?
- do i pack some warmer clothes? is it not the thunderstorm/hurricane season in florida soon?
- and is everyone up for mega partying during the year! cus i am! ;D 8)
